Adam Schiff couldn’t contain his rage.
The California Democrat isn’t used to the ball not bouncing his way.
And Adam Schiff suffered a brutal setback that will have you grinning from ear to ear.
Adam Schiff was among the many Democrats fuming over House Republicans uniting around Louisiana Republican Mike Johnson and electing him as speaker of the House.
Johnson has a generally conservative record and the media tried to play the usual cards smearing him as an extremist because he opposes homosexual marriage and abortion on demand.
But what really set off Schiff and his allies in the media was Johnson being one of the 126 House Republicans who signed an amicus brief in support of Texas’s lawsuit arguing that Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin illegally changed their voting laws to allow mass mail-in voting.
You might be Googling who Mike Johnson is this morning.
Let me make it simple:
Johnson is a hard-right, pro-Trump, leading election denier in the House.
Sadly, this is what passes for Speaker material in the Republican conference.

After Johnson won the gavel he only made even more liberal heads explode by speaking humbly about his faith in Jesus Christ and how it prepared him for this moment.
“I want to tell all my colleagues here what I told the Republicans in that room last night; I don’t believe there are any coincidences in a matter like this. I believe that Scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the one that raises up those in authority. He raised up each of you, all of us, and I believe that God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here for this specific moment in this time,” Johnson stated.
Schiff and the Democrats were furious because if RINOs tanked Johnson’s candidacy like they did Jim Jordan, then Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was set to collude with establishment Republicans to enter into a coalition government to grant Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry authority to bring bills to the floor of the House.
That would allow Democrats to pass spending bills to fund Joe Biden’s socialist agenda at the same levels Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer set when Democrats ran Congress in 2022.
A coalition government between swamp RINOs and Democrats would also mean swift passage of the $106 billion fund Joe Biden proposed to fund mass trafficking of illegal aliens into America and the war in Ukraine for another year.
Conservatives are sick of Joe Biden opening the border at home while moving heaven and earth to spend whatever it takes to secure the Ukrainian border.
Now that the House GOP elected a speaker – and Mike Johnson previously voted against a blank check for Ukraine – Republicans have a chance to reverse Joe Biden’s America-last agenda.
