It looks like she hasn’t learned a thing.
And Hillary Clinton made one sick statement about America that will put your jaw on the floor.
As America honored the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, Hillary Clinton seized on the occasion to air her grievances about the United States and President Trump.
Clinton smeared America as “dangerous” and attacked Trump as not representing “serious leadership.”
“Right now, we are not a serious country. We are a dangerous country. We are causing all kinds of problems in the world. We’re picking fights with our best friends. We’re giving passes to those who wish us ill. We are not a serious country, and we don’t have serious leadership,” Clinton ranted on MS NOW’s Morning Joe.
The source of Clinton’s wrath was Trump attempting to renegotiate a new trade deal with Canada, talks that Canada walked away from, which forced Trump to impose new tariffs on $50 billion worth of Canadian goods.
Clinton’s attacks on America and Trump’s trade policy sounded like they could have come from Ontario Premier Doug Ford, who raged to reporters that he hoped this trade war with Canada cost Republicans control of Congress in November,
“Hopefully, he’s going to lose the Senate. He’s going to lose Congress. I hope so, and hold him accountable,” Ford stated.
Ford then falsely claimed that Canada wouldn’t meddle in the election.
“But we’ll see how that goes. We aren’t going to interfere in the U.S. election,” Ford added.
That just wasn’t true, as Canada timed new tariffs on $20 billion of American goods for after Labor Day so they would hit industries in key battleground states just as the midterm election campaign kicked into full gear.
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer explained to Fox News that this was a conflict of Canada’s own making as their negotiators walked away from the “best deal in the world.
“We offered them the best deal. They looked it square in the face and turned around,” Greer told Fox News.
Greer recounted how the U.S. offered Canada good terms on items like lumber, steel, and cars, but that it wasn’t enough for Canada, which demanded steeper concessions.
“I told them what we could deliver. I said, ‘We could try to give you the best deal in the world on steel, aluminum, autos, and help you out on lumber,'” Greer stated. “These are things very sensitive for the Canadians, and we managed to move the levers of our government to give them that deal.”
Greer said Trump was through with countries like Canada ripping America off on trade and said no deal.
“When they came back, they wanted more; they wanted more tariff relief. It wasn’t good enough to have the best deal in the world,” Greer added. “They wanted it to be even better… These are things we couldn’t accommodate.”
“We were ready to do it. We gave them the best deal in the world. Did it give them everything? No. Did we have everything we wanted? No. That’s how a deal works,” Greer concluded.
