The conventional wisdom is that 2024 will see a rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
But Megyn Kelly is not so sure.
And Megyn Kelly dropped a bombshell about what will force Donald Trump out of the 2024 race.
Many conservatives are wondering why establishment figures like South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former Vice President Mike Pence, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu and former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson are wasting their time running for the GOP nomination.
Almost all are RINOs and relics of the Bush/Romney/McCain GOP.
A CNN poll shows large numbers of Republican voters would not consider voting for them under any circumstances as they represent taking the party backwards instead of building on the Trump movement.
CNN POLL: 2024 GOP Primary
Trump:
53% – currently supporting
31% – would consider supporting

Megyn Kelly tried to drill down what Tim Scott and the others were thinking on her show with guests Federalist Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky and Washington Free Beacon Editor-in-Chief Eliana Johnson.
Jashinsky speculated that Scott and the others entered the race under the thinking that legal issues cripple Trump and force him out of the race opening up a wide lane for someone to become the establishment candidate.
“Maybe Donald Trump has to drop out for some unforeseen reason, and then Tim Scott will be there waiting in the wings again. I’m skeptical of that. But that is their idea of where things could go,” Jashinsky theorized.
Kelly responded by pointing out that in 2024, Biden will be 81 and Trump, 77, which could lead to nature removing one from the playing field.
“You know what’s crazy is if it winds up being Trump, Biden in the contest, forgive me, but they could both die,” Kelly stated. “Like, they’re old enough that one might not make it to the actual election day, never mind through a first term, or in Biden’s case a second. I mean, this is something we actually have to factor in when you have presidential candidates who are around 80 years old.”
Donald Trump said he will not drop out of the race under any circumstances.
When Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Trump it only served to boost Trump’s poll numbers.
Democrat prosecutors in Atlanta and Washington are considering similar indictments.
Those too could see Trump’s support increase.
