Joe Biden figured the weaponized justice system would do his dirty work of taking out Donald Trump for him.
But Biden got some bad news.
And Joe Biden never knew what hit him when everyone saw these jaw-dropping poll results.
Democrats, the corporate media and establishment Republicans accepted without any question that Donald Trump was the weakest Republican candidate and that nominating Trump guaranteed Joe Biden a second term.
In 2016 Democrats, the corporate media, and establishment Republicans also all convinced themselves that Donald Trump could not win the presidency.
The latest round of polling data shows that once again Trump’s foes in the establishment and D.C. swamp are about to make the same mistake all over again.
A new poll from Echelon Insights – a firm run by Republicans desperate to see the party move beyond Donald Trump – showed Trump leading Joe Biden by seven points in the key swing states.
“A poll from Echelon Insights found that 48% of respondents in swing states would probably or definitely vote for Trump, compared to just 41% for Biden. Though Biden is narrowly favored overall by likely voters, with 43% favoring him compared to 42% for Trump, the Republican front-runner could win 270 Electoral College votes by seizing the swing states,” the Washington Examiner exclusively reported.
And the poll also showed that contrary to the media and D.C. conventional wisdom, Donald Trump is the strongest candidate the Republican Party can run against Joe Biden.
“Furthering the good news for Trump in the poll, it also found that the former president would perform better than Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), his primary Republican competitor, in a general election against Biden. In an election between DeSantis and Biden, the incumbent would receive 45% of the vote, compared to DeSantis’s 42%. He is just 1 percentage point ahead in swing states, with 44% compared to Biden’s 43%,” the Washington Examiner also exclusively reported.
Reinforcing the notion that Trump owns the electability argument was a poll from Quinnipiac showing Trump leading Joe Biden 47 to 46 percent in a hypothetical rematch.
“In a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup between Biden and Trump, the race is a virtual dead heat among all registered voters with 47 percent supporting Trump and 46 percent supporting Biden,” the Quinnipiac polling memo stated.
Trump’s lead over Biden in Pennsylvania was powered by independent voters choosing Trump by a 14-point margin.
“Republicans (89 – 7 percent) and independents (51 – 37 percent) support Trump, while Democrats (94 – 4 percent) support Biden,” the Quinnipiac memo added.
Donald Trump served for four years as president.
The American people know what they are going to get.
If Trump faces Biden in the 2024 election Trump can contrast his record of a secure border, tame inflation, and being the first president in 40 years not to start a new war, to Joe Biden’s calamity of the wide-open southern border, surging inflation, and the daily prospect of civilization-ending nuclear war with Russia.
The polls of the key states that will decide the election show that the American people are ignoring the political attempts by Joe Biden and Democrat prosecutors to use the justice system to indict Trump and the phony scandals cooked up by the liberal media to focus on how Donald Trump and Joe Biden each performed as president.
And the early returns show that comparison favors Trump.
