Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election in part because she insulted Trump supporters as
Deplorables.
What Clinton just said is even worse.
And now, Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters one name that will leave you speechless.
Hillary Clinton joined controversial left-wing lawyer Marc Elia, of Steele dossier fame, to attack Trump supporters as ‘cultists’ when she assailed a recent Supreme Court decision that banned racial gerrymanders that Democrats used to steal as many as 20 Congressional seats in red southern states.
“[Trump] can’t win a fair fight and his Republican Party, which has become a cult answering only to him, can’t win a fair fight,” Clinton stated.
Even though Trump won a landslide re-election, which included a popular victory, Clinton continued pushing the false claim that Republicans can only win through voter suppression.
“It’s ridiculous that we would be looking at ways of limiting voters, but that’s the only way they can win,” Clinton added.
The Supreme Court ruling allowed Republican states to draw fair Congressional districts; no one lost the ability to vote.
“For a so-called conservative court, there’s nothing conservative about it,” Clinton continued. “And there’s certainly nothing conservative about the lack of respect they have for congressional power, for Article I power, which looked at this problem, which studied this problem, which gathered evidence on this problem, and thought the Voting Rights Act was still necessary to conduct free and fair elections where everyone would feel that they were heard, their voice was counted, they were represented.”
What Democrats lost was the ability to illegally pack racial minorities into districts to inflate their total in the House of Representatives.
Clinton then outrageously claimed Democrats didn’t know how to play the long game when the left has spent over 100 years scheming to impose socialism on America gradually.
“We don’t play [the long game] in a coherent, unified way,” Clinton continued. “I’m sure there are people in the center, center left, far left, whatever we call ourselves, who are working out what they want to see. But let’s get together. Certain fundamental decisions have to be made. Democracy is core to that.”
Clinton then defined this as an existential fight for the left.
“Let’s get what we can get past. Let’s figure out what the coalitions are to build it,” the former secretary of state said. “I don’t think there’s anything more important than protecting voting rights. So let’s get to work on that right now.”
The Republicans’ ability to redraw fair Congressional maps threw a monkey wrench into what Democrats thought was a sure-thing midterm victory.
Hillary Clinton’s lashing out is indicative of the panic setting in at the top of the Democratic Party over this development.
