Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is the subject of a criminal investigation.
This moment has been building for years.
And Tom Homan dropped one bombshell that will scare the hell out of Ilhan Omar.
For months, President Trump and Vice President JD Vance promised Americans that Ilhan Omar was the subject of a criminal investigation.
Authorities were probing the allegation that she committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother in a sham ceremony so he could gain US citizenship.
No one knew the investigation’s status.
Until now.
The Wall Street Journal reported that “The multipronged effort is focused at least in part on how Omar obtained her citizenship after she arrived in the U.S. from Somalia decades ago. Investigators are focused both on the congresswoman and the actions of her deceased father, some of the people familiar with the probe said. Nur Omar Mohamed brought his daughter and other family members to the U.S. from a refugee camp in Kenya in 1995.”
Federal agents seized Omar’s sister’s phone, and prosecutors issued a batch of subpoenas.
Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on Fox News and provided viewers with an update on the case.
“She’ll be held to the same standards you and I are held to: if she violated the law, then she should be held accountable,” Homan stated.
Many Americans are wondering if a jury finds Omar guilty, will the administration strip her of her U.S. citizenship and deport her back to her home country of Somalia.
“Would this involve denaturalizing and then deporting her, if it does turn out there is some kind of immigration fraud?” host Tomi Lahren wondered.
Homan replied that denaturalization and deportation were on the table.
“Of course,” Homan stated.
“If you lie during the naturalization process, there is a process to denaturalize somebody. We’ve done it before; it’s a long, tedious process, but it’s been done before. I’ve been involved with those investigations before, and certainly, if the evidence points that way, that could happen,” Homan went on to say.

Investigators also combed through Omar’s dumpster for DNA evidence, and indictments were coming down the pike.

Federal agents were likely “dumpster diving” for DNA evidence that would prove that the man she married in 2009, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, is her brother.
If evidence emerges to prove that is the case, Omar would have committed immigration fraud, which makes her eligible for denaturalization and deportation.
