The Fox News audience isn’t used to seeing the network’s on-air talent spar in public.
But this was different.
And then a civil war broke out on the set of Fox News in this ugly fight that viewers were stunned to see.
President Trump is furious with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Trump struck a deal with Russia to buy 300,000 tons of diesel fuel in a bid to lower prices for Americans.
And despite Trump’s repeated warnings, Zelenskyy continues to bomb Russian fuel refineries, making it impossible for that fuel to come to market and making life more expensive for Americans.
Trump blasted Zelenskyy for refusing to hold elections and wondered if it was time for a new Ukrainian leader who wanted peace.
On the set of Fox and Friends, neoconservative co-host Brian Kilmeade, who likes to claim he is a big Trump supporter, sided with Zelenskyy and Ukraine over Trump and America.
Rachel Campos-Duffy, wife of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, called out Kilmeade for putting Ukraine first and defending Zelenskyy even though Zelenskyy’s actions are aiding Democrats in the midterm election.
“I know you’re a big fan of Zelenskyy, but yesterday President Trump said maybe it’s time for an election and a new leader in Ukraine because Zelenskyy keeps blowing up these refineries after the president said, ‘Please don’t do that,’ especially before the midterms,” Campos-Duffy stated.
After Kimeade protested, Campos-Duffy reminded him that Trump supported Zelenskyy beyond what many in the MAGA base thought was necessary.
“He keeps doing it, and it’s hurting President Trump and the administration, who’s been very generous toward him and his war effort,” Campos-Duffy added.
Campos-Duffy and Kilmeade sparred over Trump’s insistence that Zelenskyy was the impediment to a deal, with Kilmeade claiming Russian President Vladimir Putin was the only one standing in the way of peace.
“There was no plausible, practical peace effort that Vladimir Putin would participate in effectively that would end this war. There’s one person who is responsible: Vladimir Putin. That is it. And he gets his ass kicked,” Kilmeade declared.
Campos-Duffy corrected Kilmeade, reminding him of how Zelenskyy, at the urging of former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, scuttled a proposed peace deal that Turkey brokered back in April 2022.
“There was a peace deal that—I think Turkey was trying to broker it, and Boris Johnson advised Zelenskyy not to take that deal,” Campos-Duffy remarked.
Campos-Duffy reminded Kilmeade that diesel fuel prices are high because Zelensky is blowing up Russian refineries and that America is Ukraine’s patron, so when Trump asks Zelensky to do something, he should obey, while also asking Kilmeade where his loyalties lay.
“I think there’s a reason why the president is buying diesel from Russia, and that’s because Zelenskyy keeps blowing up the refineries,’ Campos-Duffy went on to say.
“But he’s dependent on us, and the president said, ‘Don’t do this.” Are you for America or for Ukraine?” Campos-Duffy concluded.
All the worst RINOs who want a forever war with Russia applauded Kilmeade.
“Bravo,” anti-Trump Senator John Cornyn posted on X.
“Moral and Strategic Clarity. Thank you, Brian Kilmeade,” former Vice President Mike Pence wrote.
“Good job,’ Never Trump Congressman and January 6 Committee member Adam Kinzinger exclaimed.
