John Fetterman says he will never leave the Democratic Party to join the GOP.
But everyone is questioning that now.
And John Fetterman rushed to Trump’s defense in one fight that just said everything.
A recent Fox News poll found that 70 percent of Americans oppose AI data center construction in their neighborhood.
AI CEOs openly boast that AI will wipe out tens of millions of jobs and even potentially enslave humanity.
Elon Musk predicted that 1 billion AI robots will outproduce all of humanity in ten years.
Democrats like Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro were early champions of data centers and worked with Big Tech firms like Amazon to bring these behemoths to his commonwealth.
Now that Shapiro wants to run for President in 2028, Shapiro is trying to claim he’s an opponent of data centers by signing an executive order imposing some of the toughest data center construction guardrails in the country.
President Trump, on the other hand, is defending data centers, claiming communities that oppose building them will end up “backward and poor.”
On CNN, Fetterman sided with Big Tech and said Shapiro was wrong to adopt an anti-data center approach and said Trump “happens to be right” on AI.
“Oh, the President is actually right, overall. We used to be moving forward on data centers, and now, he’s actually scared by the polls. So, what’s really motivated by more than just the polls overall, I set up my message on it — on data centers just a couple of days [ago] on X where I’m saying it’s — the President happens to be right [on] this,” Fetterman stated.
Fetterman repeated the talking point that it’s necessary to win the AI race without explaining why.
“I think it’s very necessary that we win the war on AI. I think it’s necessary because AI is going to transform our world. And it can be either us being the leaders or it can be the Chinese, and we could live under those rules, and they’re going to build unlimited data centers, and they’re not really stopped by the kind of like democracy and the kinds of rules that we have overall. I think it’s important,” Fetterman added.
Fetterman then falsely claimed that Americans weren’t opposing data centers on their own and were being manipulated by foreign countries.
“And I would remind people, like, a lot of the opposition has been driven by the CCP and a lot of influence. So, I think, now, with data centers, also, there’s the [fact], now, that it consumes a very, very — maybe 0.1%, compared to almonds and compared to other things, part of our economy, and also our land usage as well, too. Pennsylvania, we are energy rich, we are water rich, and we’re land rich now,” Fetterman continued.
“So, I think it’s an important part of our economy, not just for Pennsylvania, but also for the country right now. And now I’m very much aware I can read the polls as a Democrat, but I think the President happens to be, on AI and data centers, absolutely — and now, it’s like, sometimes, there [are] more important [things] than what the polls might say,” Fetterman concluded.
Big Tech led the charge in censoring conservatives during COVID and in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Democrats are only pretending to oppose AI data centers now.
If Democrats win power in 2026 and 2028, they will turn the screws on Big Tech to transform AI into a political tool for the left to control information online, rewrite history by programming chatbots to produce results that only adhere to the Democratic Party’s narrative, and censor opponents on social media.
