All hell broke loose during Donald Trump’s criminal trial.
This wasn’t a banner day for the Democrats.
Alvin Bragg made the worst blunder that turned the jury in favor of Donald Trump.
Donald Trump’s criminal trial went off the rails thanks to the testimony of Stormy Daniels.
Bragg didn’t call Daniels because she had anything of value to add to the trial.
Daniels had no information about the supposed falsified business records at the heart of this kangaroo court.
Bragg confirmed this was a show trial as the only purpose of Daniels’ testimony was to embarrass Trump.
Daniels told the jury about her one-night encounter with Trump back in 2006 and how she spanked Trump with a rolled-up magazine and that he didn’t use a condom when they had sex.
In her testimony, Daniels also claimed that Trump told her that he and Melania Trump slept in separate bedrooms.
Judge Juan Merchan even had to agree to numerous Trump defense team objections as Daniels’ testimony veered so far off topic.
But during the cross-examination, Trump’s lawyers scored serious points.
CNN legal analyst Elie Honig told viewers that Trump’s lawyers got Daniels to admit she hates Trump.
Daniels also offered up a completely ridiculous answer about how she didn’t care about money in the non-disclosure agreement.
“This is some searing cross-examination so far. It’s quite effective… They got her to admit right up front, she hates the defendant,” Honig stated. “I mean, you almost never see that. I had a case where, one time, the witness had sent a sort of negative letter to the defendant and that went boy, that was used. Here, she says, at least she’s honest. At least she says straight up, I hate him. Am I correct that you hate President Trump? Answer, yes. Later, they moved into her financial motive. They said you want to make money and she said, again, candidly, yes, I want to make money. People want to make money.”
Honig also said Daniels flopped as a witness when she began laughing on the witness stand about the prospect of Trump going to jail.
“She also admitted that… she said that if he is jailed, she would dance, and she laughed. And I don’t think the jury’s going to like that. I don’t think they see this as a laughing matter or matter for a personal vengeance and retribution,” Honig continued.
Even Trump-hating liberal New York Times activist Maggie Haberman was forced to admit Daniels’ display on the witness stand made jurors uncomfortable.
“The jurors, who have listened closely to past witnesses and looked back and forth between witnesses and prosecutors as they’ve asked questions, have appeared to be less focused on Daniels during her testimony. Some are looking down, some are looking away. Again, impossible to know what it means, but it’s something different,” Haberman wrote.
Alvin Bragg is still running up against the same problem with Daniels as with every other witness in this case.
No one has provided any evidence Donald Trump committed a crime because none exists.
Stormy Daniels testifying also did Trump a huge favor as it was definitive proof that all Democrats care about is humiliating Trump.
