Establishment Republicans secretly hate President Trump’s agenda just as much as Democrats.

RINOs are now handing Democrats control of the House of Representatives by signing discharge petitions.
A discharge petition allows any member of the House to bring a bill to a vote if 218 members sign on.
Normally, the Speaker of the House controls what comes up for a vote.
But RINOs are signing on to Democrat discharge petitions so they can embarrass President Trump.
Thomas Massie (R-KY), Kevin Kiley (R-CA), and Don Bacon (R-NE) also signed on to Congressman Gregory Meeks’ (D-NY) bid to bring a resolution of disapproval for President Trump’s 25% tariffs on Canada up for a vote.
Prior to the vote, the White House expected mass defections, and the stated goal was to keep the vote total under the two-thirds that could override a Presidential veto.
That’s when President Trump laid down the law.
In a post on Truth Social, President Trump warned any Republican who voted in favor of the resolution could expect a primary challenge.
“Any Republican, in the House or the Senate, that votes against TARIFFS will seriously suffer the consequences come Election time, and that includes Primaries! Our Trade Deficit has been reduced by 78%, the Dow Jones has just hit 50,000, and the S&P has 7,000, all Numbers that were considered IMPOSSIBLE just one year ago.
In addition, TARIFFS have given us Great National Security because the mere mention of the word has Countries agreeing to our strongest wishes. TARIFFS have given us Economic and National Security, and no Republican should be responsible for destroying this privilege,” Trump vote.
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) backed up the President.
“This is life with a razor-thin majority,” Johnson said in explaining why the vote was a mistake. “I think it’s a big mistake. I don’t think we need to go down the road of trying to limit the president’s power while he is in the midst of negotiating America-first trade agreements with nations around the world.”
In the end, just six RINOs crossed over to vote with Democrats against Trump’s Canada tariffs.
From the moment Trump enacted the tariffs, establishment RINOs claimed the sky was falling, and economic calamity awaited.
But the stock market hit a record high.
Inflation is running cooler than expectations.
And the January jobs report found 130,000 jobs created, signifying a healthy job market.
The only reason to oppose the tariffs was to oppose President Trump’s America First agenda.
