Political problems keep piling up for Joe Biden.
This time the source of trouble is from the last place Democrats expected.
And Joe Biden is in deep trouble in this key swing state for a reason that no one saw coming.
Donald Trump winning Michigan in 2016 was one of the most stunning results of a historic night.
No Republican won Michigan since 1988 and Michigan – as well as Pennsylvania, which Trump also won – seemed to be Lucy yanking the football away from Charlie Brown for GOP candidates.
Trump’s MAGA message of fair-trade deals, a secure border and an end to endless wars broke through the fabled “blue wall.”
Four years later Joe Biden carried Michigan by a little under three points and around 150,000 votes in 2020.
But now Michigan is in play because Joe Biden is facing the crackup of the Democrat coalition over Israel.
The base of the Democrat Party – especially young voters – overwhelmingly sides with Hamas, the terrorists who carried out the October 7 attack on Israel where jihadists murdered 1,200 Jews.
A Gallup poll found 49 percent of Democrats support the Palestinians and just 39 percent report their sympathies lie with Israel.
This pro-Hamas sentiment on the left manifested itself in rallies and marches through streets of America’s biggest cities and on college campuses.
This led to frightening levels of anti-Semitism not seen since the 1930s where pro-Hamas leftists terrorized and even killed Jews.
At a recent rally in D.C. pro-Hamas speakers warned Biden that they wouldn’t turn out to vote for him in 2024 unless Biden supported Hamas’s call for Israel to implement a ceasefire of military operations to wipe the terrorist organization out.
To be clear, there would be a ceasefire if Hamas would stop slaughtering Jews.
Israel wasn’t attacking Gaza on October 7 when Hamas terrorists raped women and burned Jewish babies in ovens.
“No ceasefire, no votes. No ceasefire, no votes. No ceasefire, no votes,” a speaker declared.
“No votes in Michigan. No votes in Arizona. No votes in Georgia. No votes in Nevada. No votes in Wisconsin. No votes in Pennsylvania. No votes in Ohio. No votes for you anywhere if you do not call for a ceasefire now,” the crowd chanted.
Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib – who echoed Hamas lies about Israel and repeated the genocidal “from the river to the sea” chant – posted a video on social media claiming that unless Biden adopted the pro-Hamas position, he couldn’t count on Democrats in Michigan to turn out.

This is a major problem in Michigan.
There are 240,000 Muslims in Michigan.
Exit polls showed Joe Biden won 69 percent of the vote of Arabs and Muslims in 2020.
But a poll by the Democrat firm Lake Research Partners showed Biden’s approval rating with Muslims and Arabs sinking to just 16 percent.
If Muslim voters don’t turn out in the numbers they did four years ago Donald Trump could very well become the first Republican since Ronald Reagan to win Michigan twice.
