President Trump said Democrats looked the other way in elections and allowed illegal aliens to vote.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill triggered a political earthquake when she announced that the state law that automatically registered anyone receiving a driver’s license to vote allowed 6,600 noncitizens onto the voter rolls in 2023 and 2204.
“Last week I learned that a serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated that they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024, almost three years before my taking office,” Sherrill wrote on social media.
400 of these noncitizens voted in elections, casting an illegal ballot that disenfranchised a legal New Jersey voter.
Sherrill blamed a software glitch for the noncitizens being able to register to vote and cast fraudulent ballots.
“These individuals answered ‘no’ when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers’ licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway,” Sherrill added.
MAGA wasn’t buying any of it, and pointed to the scandal as evidence that President Trump was right to warn about voter fraud and that the Senate needed to pass the SAVE Act, which would put a stop to this by requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote.
Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn called out Sherrill for not demanding that New Jersey’s two Democrat Senators protect election integrity by dropping their opposition to the SAVE Act.
“Over 6,600 non-citizens were wrongly registered to vote under DEMOCRAT leadership in New Jersey, and yet @GovSherrillNJ is attacking President Trump. Why isn’t she calling on @SenBooker and @SenatorAndyKim to pass the SAVE America Act?” Blackburn wrote on X.
Journalist Lara Logan wasn’t buying the software glitch excuse and argued this was all the more reason to move to paper ballots and hand counts to ensure accurate election results.
“Give me a break – they will always blame these things like this on a “glitch” if you allow them to get away with it. As long as there are machines, there will be ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for everything they control. Taking voting out of the hands of humans and putting it in the hands of non-human entities who speak a language none of us speak (code) is how you lose everything. Wake up for God’s sake,” Logan posted on social media.
Conservative activist Robbie Starburk wrote on X that many New Jersey elections since 2023 were decided by tiny margins, so it was likely illegal aliens were already deciding who wins and loses.
“Well over a dozen elections in New Jersey have been decided by tiny margins since 2023. Some by only a few votes. With this admission of nearly 400 voting in this sample of 6,600 illegals, it’s possible that illegal immigrants decided those elections,” Starbuck stated.
But this is just one state.
24 states have automatic voter registration laws, so there is no telling how many illegal aliens are actually on the voter rolls and casting fraudulent ballots.
