Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s voice still carries a lot of weight inside the Democratic Party.
Obama sounded a warning on a five-alarm emergency.
And Michelle Obama confessed Democrats are doomed in 2028 if they make this bad mistake.
Michelle Obama recently warned Democrats that they couldn’t nominate a woman again for President in 2028.
In a conversation posted to her YouTube page, Obama claimed America was just too sexist to elect a female President.
“As we saw in this past election, sadly, we ain’t ready,” Obama ranted. “That’s why I’m like, don’t even look at me about running, because you all are lying. You’re not ready for a woman. You are not.”
“You know, we got a lot of growing up to do, and there’s still, sadly, a lot of men who do not feel like they can be led by a woman, and we saw it,” Obama added.
Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris in the 2016 and 2024 elections.
Joe Biden became President in 2020.
Democrats are taking stock of that electoral history, as well as Michelle Obama’s warnings ahead of the 2028 Presidential contest.
And Axios reports top Democrats are concluding that they need to nominate a “straight, white, Christian man,” in the mold of Joe Biden or Bill Clinton, if they hope to win back the White House.
“There is a fear — and I actually don’t think this is just a grass-tops fear, I think you’d hear it from voters, too — that a woman has now lost twice,” a top Democratic strategist said to Axios.
“So not discounting the hundreds of other times men have lost … but is it the right thing to nominate a woman?” the strategist added.
But this message hasn’t filtered down to Democratic voters.
Polls show Kamala Harris as the frontrunner for the 2028 nomination.

Kamala’s frontrunner status rests on her strength with black voters, the core of the Democratic Party’s base.
In 2028, Democrats are staring down the barrel of the conundrum they faced in 2024, where ripping the nomination away from Kamala risks fracturing the coalition by alienating the party’s most loyal voters.
