RINO Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw is a media darling because he’s always eager to attack conservatives.
Crenshaw positions himself as the next Mitt Romney or John McCain.
And now Dan Crenshaw’s border betrayal will have you seeing red.
Crenshaw blew his top over Donald Trump and conservatives in the House and Senate sinking the bad border deal that RINOs Mitch McConnell and James Lankford cut with Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer.
This Senate border sellout left enforcement in the hands of Joe Biden – meaning there would be no enforcement of any new border security measures – and allowed Biden to wave just under 2 million illegal aliens into America on a yearly basis.
Republicans knew Biden was trying to pull a fast one when he falsely claimed he needed new authority to shut down the border and couldn’t take any executive action.
Crenshaw defended the idea Biden required an act of Congress to shut down the border.
“I understand some Republicans are saying ‘We don’t need any changes to the law!’ Then why did we write HR 2? Why did we do that? Why didn’t Trump just shut down the border if you just think we don’t need any changes to the law? He couldn’t. He had to make a deal with Mexico. And he did a great job doing that, but he had to rely on, literally, international agreements to get it under control,” Crenshaw declared.
Crenshaw also claimed Republicans should enter into a deal with Biden even though Biden’s proven time and time again he can’t be trusted to secure the border claiming there was a negotiation to be had with someone like Biden who stood on a debate stage in the 2020 Democrat primary and raised his hand saying he agreed with decriminalizing illegal border crossings.
“We do need changes to the law. You gotta change those loopholes in asylum. You got to raise the bar for asylum. You’ve got to make it very clear that there’s no paroling. You need to institute, ‘remain in Mexico’ as an authority in law. You know, these are really simple fixes that need to be done. And, you know, that emergency authority that everybody interpreted, I think is entries, you know, clean that up. You need to make that clear that that’s not entries, it’s encounters. Probably I would decrease that number vastly too. I think 5,000 is way beyond an emergency per day. You know, I think it should be closer to 1,000. But like, you know, reasonable people can actually make a good bill here. That’s what the House should be doing,” Crenshaw added.
What Crenshaw – and swamp RINOs like McConnell – is really mad about is the fact that sinking this phony border security bill blows up any chance of conservatives agreeing to support sending another $61 billion to fund the war to secure Ukraine’s border.
To give an idea of Washington, D.C.’s priorities the establishment Republicans like Crenshaw were prepared to vote for one bill to spend three times as much money – $61 billion compared to the $20 billion in the McConnell/Lankford deal – on securing Ukraine’s border as they were on America’s.
No money for Ukraine led to temper tantrums across the swamp.
And Dan Crenshaw was just one of many to lose their mind over this defeat.
