Country music legend Garth Brooks stepped in a political minefield with his stance on the Bud Light boycott.
There was major damage control involved.
And what Garth Brooks said about the Bud Light boycott caused one actor to make a stunning confession.
Garth Brooks initially drew a hard line on his opposition to the Bud Light boycott.
Brooks slammed critics of Bud Light promoting transgenderism through its sponsorship deal with Dylan Mulvaney as “a–holes” and declared he would serve Bud Light at his new bar in Nashville.
“I want it to be a place you feel safe in, I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another. And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It’s not our decision to make,” Brooks stated.
“Our thing is this: If you [are let] into this house, love one another. If you’re an a–hole, there are plenty of other places on lower Broadway,” Brooks snarled.
But Brooks quickly realized he did not want his new bar to become the next Bud Light or Target – major name brands that suffered massive financial losses over bending the knee to the woke agenda – and backpedaled as fast as he could.
Brooks clarified saying he respected the opinions of Americans that boycotted Bud Light.
“I understand that might not be other people’s opinions, but that’s OK, man … if you’re one of those people that just can’t do that, I get it. If you ever are one of those people that want to try, come,” Brooks claimed.
The fact that Brooks opened up his bar in the red state of Tennessee likely played a role in how swiftly Brooks tried to perform damage control to prevent his bar from suffering the financial penalties that Target and Bud Light did.
In an appearance on “Fox and Friends,” former “Saturday Night Light” and “Deuce Bigalow” star Rob Schneider said Brooks hopefully learned his lesson and that other celebrities should take heed and stay out of divisive culture war fights.
“I think next time, he’s going to stay out of it. Isn’t he? I think Garth Brooks, next time, is going to shut his mouth, and he’s going to pretend like ‘I don’t have anything to do with what beer is chosen in my restaurant,'” Schneider began.
“I think the culture is in a very weird little place of hypersensitivity one way or the other. And I think that’s why most people shut their mouths.” Schneider added, “I mean, just from a business standpoint, just shut up, say I have nothing to do with it.”

Prior to the Bud Light boycott major companies thought it was just good business to bend the knee to the woke mob and appease liberals to diffuse any talk of boycotts.
But now conservatives are fed up with corporations trashing their values and they are fighting back.
