President Trump believes he knows exactly what’s going on with all of the recent violence in America.
While the media says it’s Trump’s fault, insisting his rhetoric is driving people to commit heinous acts of violence. Trump says the opposite is true.
According to the President, it’s actually the Fake News media who’s causing the violence to ramp up right now.
Trump insists that the “Fake News media” and their extremely slanted and biased news coverage is what’s driving people to lash out at others and kill.
The left-leaning media and their “unfair” media coverage claim it’s trump who’s behind the increasing violence.
On Twitter, Trump decried the way the media has conducted itself while he’s been in office. He says they’re “the true Enemy of the People.”
“There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
“That will do much to put out the flame of Anger and Outrage and we will then be able to bring all sides together in Peace and Harmony,” he added.
It would appear many Americans feel this way, and that’s actually giving the media an emboldened sense of victimhood.
Trump’s accusations come in the wake of two exceptionally terrifying incidents.
The mailing of explosive devices to the offices of left-leaning politicians as well as the slaughter of 11 at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.
Trump roundly condemned the recent acts of violence and insisted while he was in office he would not allow political violence to take root in the country.
Democrats don’t think Trump is telling the truth.
They claim that the country is divided because Trump calls them part of a Democratic mob and the fact his rallies are full of people chanting “CNN sucks” and “lock her up” do not help to heal the country.
Trump told reporters before departing for a rally last Friday that he felt he had been restrained in his rhetoric, rejecting calls to tone it down amid the bomb scares.
“I could really tone it up because, as you know, the media’s been extremely unfair to me and to the Republican Party,” Trump said.
