It’s no secret that the Deep State hates President Donald Trump.
After working to rig the 2016 election to deny him the oval office, their worst fears were confirmed when Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in one of the most shocking upsets in electoral history.
Stunned that their chosen and coronated successor to Barack Obama could lose to Donald Trump, the Deep State’s new tactic was to simply overthrow President Trump.
And they used the phony allegations that Trump had colluded with the Russian government in order to steal the election from Hillary Clinton as the justification for going after him.
In a stunning turn of events, it was no longer Hillary Clinton and her cronies who were accused of trying to steal the election, but instead it was Donald Trump himself who was under fire for doing so, despite the fact that all of the allegations were completely bogus.
Using the fake Russian collusion story, the Deep State pushed Robert Mueller to investigate the President in what ultimately became a nearly two-year long witch hunt against the Trump administration.
But when Mueller came back and revealed to the American people that there was no collusion at all, the Deep State suffered its second stunning defeat in just two years.
And now, they’re on the defensive like never before.
Senator Rand Paul is arguing that the time had come to turn the tables on these people, who have tried for years to overturn the results of the 2016 election and execute a coup against President Trump.
And he’s singling out the top people who need to be investigated for perpetuating this massive hoax.
Breitbart reports, “Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told Breitbart News exclusively on Tuesday that President Donald Trump told senators at the weekly GOP luncheon that he backs his call for an investigation into the origins of the Russia scandal “hoax” that Trump has now been cleared of by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.”
The top individuals who perpetuated the Deep State coup against President Trump were James Clapper, John Brennan, and Susan Rice.
“The president was at lunch today and he voiced his support for investigating the people who concocted this hoax. He didn’t use the word hoax, those are my words, but I think we should get to the bottom of this and he believes we should get to the bottom of this because this should never happen to another president,” Paul said.
“When asked specifically if former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former National Security Adviser Susan Rice should be called to testify about their role in the matter—and be subpoenaed to force their testimony if they refuse to voluntarily comply—Paul said: ‘Absolutely.’,” adds Breitbart.
The damage that Clapper, Brennan, and Rice did to President Trump, the office of the presidency, and the United States as a whole, is so large that Paul believes they must be held accountable for their actions to make sure something like this never happens again.
