Robert Mueller’s day of reckoning finally arrived.
The special counsel submitted his final report on the Trump-Russia collusion investigation.
And all hell broke loose when special counsel Mueller rendered his verdict on President Trump.
Attorney General William Barr released his summary of Robert Mueller’s findings to Congress on midday Sunday.
The letter delivered a gut punch to the fake news media, Democrats, and Never-Trump Republicans who were clinging to the fantasy that Mueller would deliver the deathblow to Trump’s Presidency.
Instead, Mueller’s final report vindicated President Trump 100 percent.
On the key question of Russian collusion, Mueller reported that his team of Democrat pit bull prosecutors found zero evidence that anyone on, or associated with, the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to rig the 2016 Presidential election.
“The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election. As the report states: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” Barr’s letter read.
That was not all.
Attorney General Barr also wrote that Trump was cleared of any allegations that he obstructed justice during the rigged witch hunt into the Russia collusion hoax.
“After reviewing the Special Counsel’s final report on these issues; consulting with Department officials, including the Office of Legal Counsel; and applying the principles of federal prosecution that guide our charging decisions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel’s investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense,” Barr continued.
Attorney General Barr also revealed that Mueller not indicting Trump was not because Department of Justice guidelines prevent indicting a sitting President, but because there was no evidence that Trump obstructed justice.
“In making this determination, we noted that the Special Counsel recognized that “the evidence does not establish that the President was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference,” and that, while not determinative, the absence of such evidence bears upon the President’s intent with respect to obstruction,” Barr added.
This was a devastating defeat for the Democrats and the media.
For two years, so-called “journalists” teamed with their allies in the Democrat Party to spew misinformation, conspiracy theories, fake news, and lies about Donald Trump and Russia.
But now they will be called into an account.
Trump and his supporters will call for investigations on how the FBI and Obama administration unleashed this hoax on the American people.
And many Americans will insist the media organizations start holding some semblance of journalistic standards and fire the hosts and contributors who fed their audiences the piles of horse manure about Russia collusion.
