Democrats continue to push the envelope.
Some fear the country is reaching a breaking point.
And you won’t believe what three generals say will start a civil war.
Democrats waged a multi-pronged attack on American institutions to turn America into a one-party state.
One institution the left successfully infiltrated is the upper levels of military leadership.
Woke generals now populate the top echelon of military brass and push the PC agenda turning the armed forces into a woke institution more worried about diversity, equity and inclusion as opposed to Communist China.
The latest danger sign came when three retired generals – Army major generals Paul D. Eaton and Antonio M. Taguba and retired brigadier general Steven M. Anderson – published an op-ed in the Washington Post calling for political purges of Trump supporters and for imposing loyalty oaths to Joe Biden.
In the typical left-wing playbook, the three retired generals accused Donald Trump and conservatives of carrying the norm-violating acts they themselves support.
Retired generals Eaton, Taguba and Anderson seized on the false corporate media narrative surrounding the lie that Trump supporters staged an insurrection.
The three retired generals conjured up a scare story of Trump – or whoever wins the GOP nomination – refusing to concede defeat in 2024 and the state legislatures in Republican-run states appointing their own slate of electors to the Electoral College and their National Guard units mobilizing on Trump’s behalf.
“Imagine competing commanders in chief — a newly reelected Biden giving orders, versus Trump (or another Trumpian figure) issuing orders as the head of a shadow government. Worse, imagine politicians at the state and federal levels illegally installing a losing candidate as president,” the Post op-ed read.
The generals outrageously claimed Republican state National Guard units and sympathetic U.S. military commanders would then arm troops to install Trump as president by force leading to civil war.
“All service members take an oath to protect the U.S. Constitution. But in a contested election, with loyalties split, some might follow orders from the rightful commander in chief, while others might follow the Trumpian loser. Arms might not be secured depending on who was overseeing them. Under such a scenario, it is not outlandish to say a military breakdown could lead to civil war,” the generals wrote.
But the generals gave the game away with their proposed “solutions.”
In the op-ed, retired generals Eaton, Taguba and Anderson called on Congress and the Biden administration to jail Trump and any of his supporters that questioned the results of the 2020 election.
The generals wrote “everything must be done to prevent another insurrection. Not a single leader who inspired it has been held to account. Our elected officials and those who enforce the law — including the Justice Department, the House select committee and the whole of Congress — must show more urgency.”
In third-world banana republics the ruling regime jails its opponents and critics.
The three generals wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post calling for a Communist China-style police state where anyone deemed a critic of the ruling party faces jail time.
Eaton, Taguba and Anderson also demanded the military conduct internal security investigations to expel anyone that supported Donald Trump or read conservative media:
But the military cannot wait for elected officials to act. The Pentagon should immediately order a civics review for all members — uniformed and civilian — on the Constitution and electoral integrity. There must also be a review of the laws of war and how to identify and deal with illegal orders. And it must reinforce “unity of command” to make perfectly clear to every member of the Defense Department whom they answer to. No service member should say they didn’t understand whom to take orders from during a worst-case scenario.
In addition, all military branches must undertake more intensive intelligence work at all installations. The goal should be to identify, isolate and remove potential mutineers; guard against efforts by propagandists who use misinformation to subvert the chain of command; and understand how that and other misinformation spreads across the ranks after it is introduced by propagandists.
Critics contend this op-ed was one of the most dangerous pieces of writing ever published.
One of the central pillars of self-governance in a democratic republic is an apolitical military.
Retired generals Eaton, Taguba and Anderson called for military leadership to explicitly align with Joe Biden and the Democrat Party to identify Republicans in the ranks and purge them for not being sufficiently supportive of Joe Biden and his agenda.
