Following the jury acquitting Kyle Rittenhouse, Kamala Harris spoke with reporters before boarding Air Force Two on Friday during a trip to Columbus, Ohio.
Harris – the former San Francisco and state of California district attorney – attacked the jury for correctly handing down a verdict of not guilty after all the evidence showed Rittenhouse acted in self-defense.
“And my impressions about the verdict: The verdict really speaks for itself. As many of you know, I’ve spent a majority of my career working to make the criminal justice system more equitable. And, clearly, there’s a lot more work to do,” Harris raged.
Harris attacking the jury and claiming the criminal justice system failed became a dominant talking point on the left.
Democrats claimed a jury acquitting a white teenager for killing two white rioters – one of whom was a convicted child molester – and attempting to kill a third white rioter was actually an example of systemic racism.
“The judge. The jury. The defendant. It’s white supremacy in action. This system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free. I’m hurt. I’m angry. I’m heartbroken,” socialist Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush ranted on social media.
Democrats want Americans to believe there are legions of Trump-supporting white supremacist domestic terrorists hiding in plain sight across America waiting to stage brutal acts of political violence.
Even though Rittenhouse shot three white rioters after they chased him, cracked him in the head with a skateboard and pulled a gun on Rittenhouse, Democrats and the corporate media promoted the false story of an armed Rittenhouse traveling across state lines to carry out white vigilante justice to kill innocent “racial justice protesters.”
Democrats and the corporate media referred to the white rioters Rittenhouse shot as “racial justice protesters” to fool Americans into thinking Rittenhouse shot three innocent and unarmed black Americans.
The lies told by Democrats and the corporate media – Joe Biden led the charge smearing Rittenhouse as a white supremacist last September – politicized the trial and forced Democrats to continue embracing the Big Lie even though an impartial jury examining the evidence judged Rittenhouse acted in self-defense.
By embracing the Big Lie that Rittenhouse was a racist vigilante, Democrats such as Kamala Harris risked inciting riots in the wake of the verdict after Democrats and the corporate media fed their liberal base lies about the facts surrounding the Rittenhouse trial.
