Kamala Harris is insanely proud of her own personal accomplishments.
She thinks that she should be ranked high in history.
You won’t believe the Founding Father Kamala Harris claimed to be better than.
Vice President Kamala Harris has no humility. When speaking at South Carolina State University, she compared herself to John Adams, who was a Founding Father, who helped in drafting the Declaration of Independence and was the second president of the United States.
As Vice President, Harris has the role of being the tie-breaker in the United States Senate and since the Senate is split 50-50 she has often been called on to secure the Democrats’ congressional victories.
“So as vice president, I’m also the president of the United States Senate. And in that role — this is for the historians here — I broke John Adams’ record of casting the most tie-breaking votes in a single term,” she bragged. “So for context, this kid who was born in Oakland, California and graduated from an HBCU just broke the record of John Adams. I think we should all fully appreciate how history can take a turn.”
Adams did many significant things in his life. Thomas Jefferson hailed Adams as “the pillar of [the Declaration of Independence’s] support on the floor of Congress” and its “ablest advocate and defender against the multifarious assaults it encountered.” He pressured George Washington to lead the Continental Army.
After the revolution Adam was appointed sole minister charged with negotiating peace and a commercial treaty with Britain and became America’s second president and kept America out of foreign wars during a time of political uncertainty.
There was one office that Adams didn’t feel was significant. He himself described the vice presidency as “the most insignificant office that ever the Invention of man contrived or his Imagination conceived.”
By comparing herself to Adams, Harris was trying to associate herself with all of Adams’ far greater accomplishments.
Harris also reminded the college students that because of the Biden administration taxpayers would be paying for their degrees due to the administration’s student loan cancellation, “And it’s important for you to know that this loan forgiveness does not just apply to graduates. It also may apply to many of you sitting here right now. So if you receive — please take note of this — if you received a federal loan before July 1 of this year, you are eligible.”
She told students to spread the word: “If you have a friend or a sibling or a cousin who acquired that student loan debt to the point that they may have had to leave before graduation, you needn’t have graduated to apply for the debt relief. So please help me get the word out so folks can take advantage of that.”
