Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ended up in the middle of some strange controversies during her time in Congress.
But this one takes the cake.
And now Tucker Carlson learned something strange about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s love life.
Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez ignited her latest political firestorm when she and her boyfriend absconded to Florida to party while COVID cases surged in her home state of New York as well as nationwide.
Photos of Ocasio-Cortez and her boyfriend living it up at bars while not wearing masks went viral on social media.
Ocasio-Cortez responded to the controversy by claiming Republicans were just mad they couldn’t score a date with her because Ocasio-Cortez was out of their league.
“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on social media. “Ya creepy weirdos.”
Conservative commentator Candace Owens appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show and eviscerated Ocasio-Cortez for her narcissism.
“Listen, I saw this and I actually couldn’t believe my eyes and I tried to create a sober analysis of what made her tweet that, and by the way, it got worse,” Owens told Carlson. “She had a second tweet that said there are sexual frustrations that underpin Republicans’ critiques of me, their fixation on me, so she’s really actually creating a sexual narrative.”
Owens theorized that since the pictures of Ocasio-Cortez showed the New York congresswoman out partying, Ocasio-Cortez was under the influence when Ocasio-Cortez wrote her tweet about conservative critics being sexually frustrated.
Candace Owens stated her belief that Ocasio-Cortez lashed out that Republicans just wanted to date her to distract Americans from asking the obvious questions as to why Ocasio-Cortez – who regularly criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for not imposing lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates – availed herself of the freedom Florida affords Americans.
“I think alcohol loosens your inhibitions and I think that she was about ten margaritas deep in Miami enjoying the free state of Florida and she wrote something that was honestly just filth,” Owens added. “I mean, how bizarre and immature is it for any person, any person that wants to be taken seriously as an adult, to look at a fair critique of them as an elected official who has been barking about how Florida is doing everything wrong, how that Ron DeSantis is, to see this critique it off her back well, you know what, you just want to sleep with me.”
Owens concluded by mocking Ocasio-Cortez by telling Carlson that her criticisms of Ocasio-Cortez were rooted in policy disagreements and that Owens did not want to sleep with Ocasio-Cortez.
“It’s so bratty and so immature and it’s so disgusting to even think about. And let me just say in case there’s any confusions,” Owens continued. “I have a lot of critiques of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, I’ve had a lot of critiques since the very beginning. No, Sandy, I do not want to sleep with you.”
