Democrats plan to try and ride January 6 to victory in 2024.
But Democrats got some bad news.
And that’s because Tucker Carlson knows a secret about January 6 that has Democrats in panic mode.
The liberal media and Democrats melted down over House Speaker Kevin McCarthy granting Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of security camera footage from the Capitol on January 6.
Liberal media activists whined and Democrats made patently false claims that letting Carlson and his producers air the footage would expose vulnerabilities in the Capitol’s security.
McCarthy laughed off those complaints.
In an interview with the Washington Post McCarthy chided the press for normally falling all over themselves to praise one another when a media outlet lands an exclusive scoop.
“People like exclusives, and Tucker is some[one] that’s been asking for it. So I let him come in and see it, but everyone’s gonna get it,” McCarthy told the Post. “It almost seems like the press is jealous. You know? And that’s interesting because every person in the press works off exclusives on certain things.”
McCarthy also dismissed any security concern noting that Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 committee already exposed ways in and out of sensitive areas like the Speaker’s Lobby.
Speaker McCarthy also hammered the January 6 committee for carefully picking and choosing what footage to make public based on how it would advance their anti-Trump political agenda.
McCarthy explained that it would be better off for the country if everyone could see the footage and decide for themselves what happened.
And as to the complaint that Carlson was the first one to get a chance to view the footage, McCarthy told the Post every media outlet would eventually get their opportunity to view the January 6 security footage.
“I was really concerned how Jan. 6 [committee] would pick and choose certain things,” McCarthy continued. “I’m not picking and choosing. I’m allowing everybody, just like any other story. If I provide an exclusive to one, you’re all going to watch more of it.”
What the press is worried about is Carlson being given the first honor of airing the January 6 footage.
Up until now the American people only saw video which backed up the Democrat Party’s narrative that Donald Trump incited an insurrection to overthrow the Republic.
After getting his first taste of the security camera footage Tucker Carlson teased viewers with the fact that the complete record of events did not back up the story Democrats and the press wanted the American people to believe about January 6.
“We have been there about a week, our producers — some of our smartest producers — have been there looking at this stuff and trying to figure out what it means, and how it contradicts, or not, the story that we’ve been told for two years,” Carlson stated.
“We think, in some ways, it already does contradict that story,” Carlson concluded.
Polls show Joe Biden is unpopular and the majority of his own party does not want him to run for re-election.
Biden can’t run on his record so Biden and the Democrats want to run back the successful strategy of 2022 and smear conservatives as insurrectionists who will end American democracy if they gain power.
But if Tucker Carlson shows the American people the truth about January 6 that plan is out the window.
