Fox News tried to silence Tucker Carlson by firing him.
But Carlson just got the last laugh.
Tucker Carlson said two words about his next job that will terrify Fox News.
Puck News reporter Dylan Byers — who initially broke the story that Fox New fired Tucker Carlson — revealed that Carlson’s show would return as a streaming broadcast on Twitter.
Byers reported that Carlson would give up the $25 million owed to him by Fox News to get out of his non-compete clause which allows Carlson to begin broadcasting his show.
Tucker Carlson will relaunch his show *on Twitter* with help from former Fox News staff. He will forgo at least $25 million owed to him by Fox Corp. in order to break his non-compete clause.
In a video that went viral on social media Carlson posted “we’re back,” along with a 2- minute, 59 seconds-long video where Carlson addressed the state of the media as well as his ouster from Fox News.

Carlson explained to Americans that news they see in the corporate media — which Carlson made clear includes Fox News — is a lie designed to manipulate them.
The former Fox News host said media outlets are barely disguised partisan propaganda outfits that omit key facts to brainwash Americans into accepting falsehoods as truths.
Carlson told viewers that everyone who works in mainstream media understands that these outlets act as gatekeepers for the information that flows to the American people and there are limits as to what they can say.
These media outlets will fire anyone — Carlson stated — who bumps up against the acceptable limits of what media elites and the ruling political class will allow.
Carlson confirmed that Fox News fired him for his opinion on COVID vaccines, the war in Ukraine, woke ideology, and immigration by saying that he knows this is true from experience.
Fox News ratings tanked since removing Carlson from the nightly lineup.
Ratings for the network declined 30 percent the first week Carlson was off the air.
Fox News finished in last place in the critical age 25-54 demographic in Carlson’s old timeslot.
Network management likely allowed Carlson out of his non-compete clause on the condition that Carlson only takes his show to a social media platform and does not start his own media company or sign on with a rival network.
But Fox News may have badly miscalculated.
The number of homes subscribing to the cable bundle declines each year.
More and more Americans consume news digitally and through social media.
And Carlson built the youngest audience in cable news.
Carlson has the right audience and access to platforms that could create a viral show that racks up millions of views which would be above and beyond the 3-million-per-night audience he drew on Fox News.
