Americans got some bad news.
It could not come at a worse time.
Donald Trump told the public a truth about the coronavirus vaccine that Joe Biden hid.
Donald Trump’s Operation Warp Speed delivered multiple coronavirus vaccines in record time.
But on Tuesday, the Food and Drug Administration announced a pause on using the Johnson and Johnson vaccine because six women developed blood clots out of 7,000,000 doses administered across the country.
Many questioned if the FDA was being alarmist—a belief that was strengthened when Dr. Fauci defended the decision with mixed messaging—and would cause more Americans to reject the vaccine.
One of the loudest critics was former President Trump.
Trump fired off a statement attacking the hacks at the FDA for tainting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine in the minds of Americans.
“The Biden Administration did a terrible disservice to people throughout the world by allowing the FDA and CDC to call a ‘pause’ in the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine,” Trump declared. “The results of this vaccine have been extraordinary but now its reputation will be permanently challenged. The people who have already taken the vaccine will be up in arms.”
Trump prodded with administration officials to take charge of a rogue FDA that often makes decisions with political reasons in mind.
“The FDA, especially with long time bureaucrats within, has to be controlled,” Trump continued. “They should not be able to do such damage for possibly political reasons, or maybe because their friends at Pfizer have suggested it.”
One example of the FDA’s political radar guiding its decisions was last year when the FDA and Pfizer waited until two days after the presidential election to announce the FDA granted an emergency use authorization for the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine so as to deny President Trump any chance for a last-minute political boost.
It wasn’t just President Trump warning that the FDA’s decision would harm Americans’ acceptance of vaccines.
Even pro-Deep State CNN medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta agreed.
“This is tough news to have to give because I think this is going to really shake confidence at least in the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in this country.” Gupta stated. “And I think it’s going to be tough to regain some of that confidence.
“I think [it] will increase vaccine hesitancy,” Gupta added. “People are going to read these headlines today and become understandably concerned. So emphasizing the real numbers here [is important] – which is, at this point from what we know, less than one in a million chance of happening.”
