The media has declared Joe Biden the President-elect.
But that is not their job.
And now Trey Gowdy had a direct message for Joe Biden that he never saw coming.
Election night began with Donald Trump leading Joe Biden.
When Americans woke up the next mysterious vote dumps showed Joe Biden in the lead.
The fake news media focused on the fact that Biden may have won the Presidency.
However, they largely ignored the main takeaway from the election.
And that was the disastrous performance of the Democrats after polls predicted a “blue wave” sweeping Democrats into historic majorities in the House and Senate while delivering Joe Biden a landslide win.
None of that came to pass.
Instead of losing up to 15 seats on the House of Representatives, the GOP shocked the pollsters and the prognosticators and could gain as many as 13 seats.
Republicans also appeared on track to maintain their majority in the Senate.
Trey Gowdy explained that these results were repudiation of the Democrat Party who were supposed to waltz to victory and lost seats that they were supposed to win.
“It’d be nice for everyone to take a step back and say maybe Americans don’t want this transformative change on either side, maybe they like kind of a more nuanced, let’s keep things going but in a better direction,” Gowdy stated.
Gowdy added that right off the bat the voters neutered Biden’s Presidency as the grandiose left-wing wishlist that Biden campaigned on was dead on arrival.
“He’s not gonna get the Green New Deal, he’s not gonna get D.C. as a state or Puerto Rico. He’s not gonna pack the court. Americans like checks and balances,” Gowdy added.
For all intents and purposes, Joe Biden is a lame duck on day one.
Joe Biden will be 82 years old in 2024 and given his obvious senility and the fact that many Americans believe he is already suffering from early onset dementia, few Americans believe he will run for re-election in 2024.
This is not idle speculation or partisan wishcasting on the part of rank and file Republican voters.
During the campaign, former Vice President Joe Biden repeatedly referred to himself as a “transitional” candidate.
Anyone that spent a few minutes following politics could clearly read between the lines and see that Biden was signaling that he understood voters had questions about his declining mental health and that he would only serve one term in office.
A Republican Senate will likely block all of Biden’s big-ticket items and leave a wide open playing field for the 2024 presidential field.
