Leave it to former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy to put Joe Biden in his place.
Liberals are going to hate what Gowdy just said.
That’s because Trey Gowdy destroyed Joe Biden with one truth that Democrats are terrified to face.
On the latest broadcast of his Fox News show, Trey Gowdy took Joe Biden apart over the rising crime rates in American cities and Joe Biden’s heartless lack of a response.
In his monologue, Gowdy brought up the tragic murders of Brianna Kupfer, Rachel Dowden, Michelle Go and Tessa Majors.
A career criminal out on bond murdered Kupfer while she was on the job at a furniture store in Los Angeles.
A man with an order to stay away from Dowden shot and killed her while she waited for a bus in Pennsylvania.
In New York City, a deranged lunatic with a history of criminal and mental health issues killed Go by shoving Go in front of an oncoming subway train.
And teenagers murdered Majors – a New York college student – over a cell phone.
Gowdy blasted Biden for not putting enough emphasis on the public’s right to be safe from criminals.
“I took note of a phrase President Biden repeated during his press conference this week: He said Americans want three squares and to be safe. In fact, he said it twice. Americans want to be safe. It’s more than just ‘want to be safe, Mr. President.’ Americans have the right to be safe because there is no liberty or pursuit of happiness without life. You can’t vote if you’re dead. You can’t sign up for a government program, if you’re dead. You can’t build back better, if you’re dead. So what is he doing about it?” Gowdy asked.
Gowdy also ripped Biden for not speaking more forcefully against Democrat prosecutors in major U.S. cities that refuse to enforce the law and let violent criminals out on the street with little or no bail.
“There are elements within his party who want more violent people out on bond, more charges dropped, more light sentences. There are elements within his party who actually blame the police for the rising violent crime. There are elements of his party who literally advocate for the closing of prisons,” Gowdy continued.
The domestic terrorist who carried out the attack in Waukesha, Wisconsin killing eight by plowing his SUV into a Christmas parade was on the street after a George Soros-backed prosecutor let him off with just $1,000 bail after the terrorist ran over a woman at a gas station with his car.
Controversial Soros-backed Los Angeles County prosecutor George Gascon faces a recall effort after crime spiraled out of control after Gascon flat-out refused to enforce the law.
All told, at least 16 cities set homicide records in 2021.
Criminals murdered five police officers in the line of duty during the first 24 days of 2022.
Gowdy ripped Biden for engaging in demagoguery over voting and claiming the Senate needed to blow up the filibuster and essentially end the foundational principles of the American republic such as checks and balances and minority rights, but says nothing about Democrats changing the rules to allow criminals to roam the streets and murder innocents.
“Biden gets very animated talking about what he believes are voting rights and changing the rules of the Senate. How about changing the rules, so there are fewer victims, so the innocent public is better protected? What about making sure you can work in a store without being killed or wait on a bus or stand on a subway platform, or just walk home in New York? These 4 young women, and scores more like them, have forever lost the right to vote or do anything else. The right to live is the most fundamental right you have. When will Biden get upset about that? When will the media ask him about that?” Gowdy wondered.
Polls show rising crime is a concern for voters ahead of the 2022 midterms.
In one brief monologue Trey Gowdy explained one of the biggest political vulnerabilities facing Joe Biden.
