President Joe Biden is about to find out where rock bottom is.
What’s coming down the pike could upend everything.
And Ted Cruz hit Joe Biden with a piece of devastating news that no one saw coming.
On his podcast “Verdict,” Texas Senator Ted Cruz predicted a Republican sweep in next year’s midterm elections leading to a GOP majority conducting multiple investigations into Joe Biden’s failed and lawless administration.
“If we take the house, which I said is overwhelmingly likely, then I think we will see serious investigations of the Biden administration,” Cruz stated.
Cruz added that the Republican majority would feel pressure to impeach Biden after Democrats weaponized impeachment as a partisan tool with two sham attempts to remove Donald Trump from office.
“I do think there’s a chance of that,” Cruz added. “Whether it’s justified or not, the Democrats weaponized impeachment. They used it for partisan purposes to go after Trump because they disagreed with him. One of the real disadvantages of doing that is the more you weaponize it and turn it into a partisan caudal, you know what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”
Cruz explained Republicans had multiple avenues to pursue impeachment against Joe Biden.
Republicans – Cruz argued – could make the strongest case for impeachment based on Joe Biden opening the border to record invasion of illegal aliens.
“I think there will be enormous pressure on a Republican House to begin impeachment proceedings. I think there are potentially multiple grounds to consider for impeachment. Probably the most compelling is the utter lawlessness, is President Biden to enforce the border. His decision to just defy immigration laws,” Cruz continued. “That’s probably the strongest grounds right now for impeachment but there may be others.”
Republicans may also impeach Biden over the disastrously executed withdrawal from Afghanistan in which Biden stranded thousands of Americans in Taliban-controlled territory and saw an Islamic terrorist murder 13 U.S. troops in a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport.
Prior to Donald Trump, Congress impeached just two presidents in history – Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton.
Congress used to reserve impeachment for serious offenses that actually fit the constitutional standard of high crimes and misdemeanors.
But Democrats could never get over Donald Trump winning the 2016 election.
Democrats initially hoped Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian collusion witch hunt would force Trump from office.
When that failed Democrats immediately pivoted to the Ukraine hoax as the basis for the first impeachment sham.
Democrats then closed Trump’s presidency with an unconstitutional scheme to impeach and convict Trump seizing on the false narrative that Trump incited an insurrection on January 6.
After Democrats traveled down that road on impeachment it was only a matter of time before Republicans fought back and retaliated.
