Sean Hannity left viewers shaking their heads in disbelief.
The popular Fox News host found himself in unfamiliar territory.
Sean Hannity had an embarrassing moment on TV that you won’t believe.
Hannity was outraged that conservatives continued to block Kevin McCarthy from winning enough votes to secure the position of speaker of the House.
Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is one of the 20 conservatives refusing to vote for McCarthy.
Boebert and the other conservatives believe McCarthy is too compromised by too many years in the D.C. swamp to bring about real change in the House.
Over the course of the multi-day debate Boebert made it clear that McCarthy would not agree to rule changes that would restrain the swamp and empower conservatives to put a stop to the leadership trying to ram through trillion-dollar spending bills.
Boebert agreed to appear on Hannity’s Fox News show to explain her views and tell Hannity what exactly she was looking for on this debate.
Despite the fact that Hannity and Boebert agree on most issues Hannity lost his mind over the fact that Boebert would not bend in her opposition to McCarthy and the D.C. swamp.
Hannity lost his cool and began berating Boebert about dropping her objections to McCarthy.
“Let me turn the tables, congresswoman,” Hannity ranted. “Kevin McCarthy has 202–3 votes. Your side has 20. So, if I’m gonna use your words, and your methodology, and your math, isn’t it time for you to pack it in and your side to pack it in considering he has over 200 and you have 20?”
“Well, Sean, he needs 218 and he does not have 218,” Boebert shot back.

Hannity and Boebert engaged in several minutes of cross talk where Hannity accused Boebert of carrying on like she was on a game show and voting for multiple different candidates in her opposition to McCarthy.
Boebert explained she and the other conservatives voted for three different candidates as alternatives to McCarthy to show the group was open to an alternative — any alternative — and not being completely inflexible.
In the interview Boebert explained the conservatives were not even dead set on forcing the House to accept a member of the Freedom Caucus as speaker and that they were even willing to swallow a more moderate member provided the new speaker agreed to the rules changes conservatives proposed to McCarthy.
Viewers were stunned to see Hannity side with the D.C. establishment over the conservative grassroots.
That is not where Hannity usually lines up.
But in this case Boebert was speaking for the grassroots conservatives and Hannity argued with her on behalf of the Republican establishment.
