All hell broke loose in Washington when Liz Cheney teamed with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to support impeaching and convicting Donald Trump.
Republicans were asking why one of the party leaders would stab their President in the back.
And now Rush Limbaugh just revealed the real reason Liz Cheney voted to impeach Trump.
A caller to Rush Limbaugh’s program was one of the many GOP voters confused as to why Liz Cheney and nine other Republicans in the House would line up alongside the Democrats to vote to impeach Donald Trump.
Limbaugh explained that Cheney and the other RINOs really wanted to impeach and discredit Donald Trump’s 75,000,000 voters to allow the Bush/McCain/Romney establishment to regain control of the Republican Party.
“The endgame, for the people that you have mentioned, the endgame is the destruction of the entire MAGA movement, even if it means the Republican Party is adrift in the wilderness for 30 years. We’re gonna get rid of MAGA, it’s gonna have nothing to do with the Republican Party going forward. That’s the battle within the Republican Party. The Republican Party has its own establishment types. They have members that are as pro-deep state as Democrats are,” Limbaugh answered.
Limbaugh reminded the caller that the Cheney family was part of the RINO establishment that tried to erase Ronald Reagan’s legacy as soon as Reagan left office.
“And the names you mentioned are people who are. And get rid of Trump and now getting rid of MAGA, since Trump is gone, now we’re gonna get rid of Trump’s agenda. That’s what this is. It’s no different than when you go back to 1989 when Reagan left after two terms. What’d the Republican Party do? I don’t know how old you are, Steve. The Republican Party immediately began to eliminate anything that Reagan had to do with anything in terms of policy,” Limbaugh added.
Liz Cheney’s father, Dick Cheney, served as Defense Secretary for George H.W. Bush who succeeded Ronald Reagan.
Bush destroyed his own presidency and the economy by supporting a massive tax increase as part of the GOP establishment’s scheme to repudiate Reagan’s achievements and depose the Reagan Revolution and reassert the swamp’s control over the country.
Limbaugh added that during the Reagan and Trump years, RINOs like the Bushes, and Liz and Dick Cheney, pretended to be conservatives because they could see which way the tide in the party was flowing.
“But when it is obvious that conservatism and conservatives are the dominant force in the Republican Party, they are smart enough to attach themselves to it and try to benefit from it for as long as that period of time lasts. But they never convert to conservatism. They do their best to make you think they are, but they don’t and they aren’t,” Limbaugh continued.
But that posture is fake and just meant to buy time and credibility so that when a conservative president leaves the stage, the RINOs can snatch back power from the people.
