Conservatives elected a majority in the House of Representatives to end Joe Biden’s open borders and illegal alien invasion.
But the GOP base was in for a rude awakening.
And this nasty RINO traitor just got called out for double-crossing every Trump supporter.
Conservatives in the House won a concession from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to hold a vote on Texas Congressman Chip Roy’s legislation to secure the border.
The vast majority of illegal aliens marching over the border want to get caught so they can game the system by making phony asylum claims.
Once they read a prepared script with phony lines about how they feel persecuted the Biden administration turns them loose in the country under the policy of catch and release until their immigration court date arrives.
This could take years and many illegal aliens never even show up.
Roy’s bill puts a stop to this nonsense.
According to a press release on Roy’s website, the Texas congressman’s bill will:
Provide the Secretary of DHS with authority to turn away migrants who do not have valid entry documents if the Secretary sees it necessary to obtain operational control of the border.
Require the Secretary to use this “turn away” authority when an illegal immigrant cannot be detained through the pendency of an asylum claim.
But nearly two months into the new GOP majority and there is still not a vote on Roy’s bill.
That’s because the GOP has just 222 seats in the House and if five RINOs hold out McCarthy can’t bring the bill for a vote since it will fail as passage requires 218 votes and no Democrat will vote “yes.”
Roy erupted during a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives blasting the establishment RINOs as frauds who talk tough about the border on the campaign trail, but who vote like pro-amnesty Democrats once in office.
“Will Republicans honor their campaign commitments to secure the border – yes or no? What I am seeing right now from my Republican colleagues does not give me faith that they will stand up in the breach as did those men who stood on the wall at the Alamo. I am tired of words!” Roy declared.
“Things are going to change in this body. If my Republican colleagues believe that they’re going to be moving through relatively meaningless provisions, doing precious damn little for the very people who sent us here to change things and they think that some of us are just going to go along for the ride, they are sorely mistaken. We will not,” Roy continued.
One of the RINO sellouts Roy likely referred to was South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace.
Journalist Dave Catanese pointed out that when Mace faced a tough primary against a Trump-endorsed challenger Mace ran TV commercials about finishing Trump’s border wall and stopping the illegal alien invasion.
But after the election Mace is now refusing to support any bill that does not include amnesty for illegal aliens.
“For instance, while Nance ran a hardline TV ad on immigration during her 2022 primary campaign — ‘Enough is enough. Finish the wall, secure our border, once and for all,’ she declared. — She’s now warning the GOP against passing any legislation that is border obsessed,” Catanese wrote in his email newsletter.
Nancy Mace betraying conservatives on the border is perfectly within character for her.
Mace pitched herself as a pro-life conservative.
However, Mace echoed Democrat Party talking points that Republicans are abortion extremists.
Mace also supports legislation that would effectively impose abortion on demand up until birth.
The reality is that Nancy Mace is a pro-abortion, pro-amnesty RINO that is constantly looking to win the favor of the corporate media.
