Democrats and RINO Republicans never saw this coming.
On the day senators were sworn in to serve as jurors in Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, Trump’s opponents suffered a massive humiliation.
And that happenedwhen Rand Paul shut down impeachment by asking the one question Democrats feared.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul delivered a speech that went viral on social media as he raised a point of order to force a vote to dismiss the Democrats’ article of impeachment as unconstitutional as Donald Trump was already out of office.
But Senator Paul also addressed the merits of the case and dissected the argument to convict Trump with the precision of an eye surgeon that Paul once was.
Paul did what Democrats, Never Trumpers and the fake news media refuse to do and that is directly quote Donald Trump’s speech from the January 6 rally.
And Trump made clear his intentions by asking supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” protest at the Capitol.
Having established that the facts were on Trump’s side, Paul explained the danger of claiming that boiler plate political rhetoric like saying “fight” or “take you country back” amounted to an incitement to violence.
Paul recounted multiple examples of Democrats using harsh language that resulted in assassination attempts and angry mobs terrorizing Republicans on the street.
The first example Paul noted was a deranged Bernie Sanders supporter attempting to massacre 20 Republicans—one of which was Paul—after Sanders claimed Republicans wanting to repeal Obamacare amounted to murder.
“No Democrat will honestly ask whether [Senator] Bernie Sanders incited the shooter that nearly killed Steve Scalise and volunteer coach. The shooter nearly pulled off a massacre — I was there — because he fervently believed the false and inflammatory rhetoric spewed by Bernie and other Democrats, such as, ‘The Republican health care plan for the uninsured is that you die,’” Paul declared.
Paul noted the would-be assassin even shouted “this is for health care” before opening fire on the defenseless Republicans.
Senator Paul also detailed Democrats such as Cory Booker and Maxine Waters urging Democrats to get in the faces of Trump supporters and asked if that amounted to an incitement to violence considering the very dangerous real world consequences Paul and his wife faced.
“No Democrat will ask if [Senator] Cory Booker incited violence when he called for his supporters to get — get ‘up in their face’ of congresspeople — a very visual, and specific incitement. No Democrat will ask whether [Representative] Maxine Waters incited violence when she told her supporters, and I quote, that ‘If you see a member of the Trump administration at a restaurant, at a department store, at a gas station, or any place, you create a crowd, and you push back on them.’ Is that not incitement?” Paul asked.
Paul recounted how a mob of Black Lives Matter terrorists menaced he and his wife as they walked back to their hotel following Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the White House on the final night of the Republican National Convention.
The terrifying scene was captured on video and had the police not been there to protect Paul, the insurrectionist mob may have torn Paul and his wife limb from limb.
“My wife and I were pushed and surrounded and screamed at by this same type of mob that Maxine likes to inspire. It’s terrifying to have a swarm of people threatening to kill you, cursing at you and literally holding you hostage until police come to your rescue. That night we were assaulted by the crowd, I wasn’t sure if we would survive even with the police protection. But no Democrat suggested impeaching Maxine for her violent rhetoric,” Paul added.
This incitement charge is just like the quid pro quo with Ukraine or Russian collusion where Democrats are actually guilty of the supposed crimes they accuse Donald Trump of committing.
Senator Paul’s speech rocketed around conservative websites and activists’ social media feeds because it was the first time in this impeachment fiasco that a Republican actually stepped up and fought back on the partisan sham the Democrats were attempting to pull off.
