With liberals crying for the impeachment of President Trump after a variety of obstacles he has faced in his political career, there have been whispers of a “President Pence” from the left.
Prior presidents like Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon were impeached for scandals, but they are completely incomparable to anything during President Trump’s short tenure as commander-in-chief so far.
Nonetheless, liberals refuse to let anything slide and are calling for impeachment procedures to begin.
With the political disarray in the government currently, the American people are turning to an unlikely source to gain some insight.
Paul Ryan, traditionally an enemy of conservative values, is promising the American people Trump is safe and there will be no “President Pence”.
Recently, Paul Ryan disputed the idea that some Republicans are hoping current Vice President Pence will take over the government if need be.
Ryan insisted that the “flood of daily drama” from the White House, while inconvenient at times, does not condone action of that magnitude.
The Daily Caller reported:
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan disputed the idea that Republican leaders secretly hope Vice President Mike Pence takes over the presidency from Donald Trump.
“I’m not even going to give credence to that. I’m not going to comment on that. There’s not even a point in commenting on that,” Ryan blasted out at his weekly presser.
When asked if the flood of daily “dramas” coming from the White House could be lessened, Ryan replied, “Well it’s always nice to have less drama, but the point I’m trying to make is people in the country really know is that we are busy at work trying to solve their problems. So, I realize that there’s a lot in the media these days that doesn’t seize up Congress.”
His defense of President Trump was short-lived however, as he continued in his interview to promote the idea of allowing a special counsel to investigate Trump.
Ryan, however, welcomed the Justice Department’s appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel saying, “The special counsel I think helps assure people in the Justice Department that we’re going to go do their jobs independently and thoroughly which is what we called for all along.”
After the fact, Ryan continued to ignore other questions regarding the situation liberals are demanding the President be put in, and instead continued to promote his own policies and political agenda, as he often does.
The Daily Caller reported:
The Speaker added that the House will continue its investigation into Russia’s meddling into the 2016 election with its own appropriate committees and the timeline of a tax reform package will not be delayed until next year, despite reports saying otherwise.
“Our goal, and I feel very confident we’re going to meet this goal, is calendar year 2017 for tax reform. And we’re making good progress,” Ryan said.
Liberal media sources are, of course, quick to jump on any bandwagon they believe will allow them to gain favor in the government.
Politico recently reported on the matter, and in a twist, falsely claimed conservatives were the ones calling for impeachment procedures.
The scandals clouding Trump’s presidency — including, most recently, his firing of FBI Director James Comey, his alleged leak of classified information to Russian officials, and reports that he urged Comey to drop an investigation into a top aide — have raised once more the possibility that Trump could be pushed aside and replaced by Vice President Mike Pence.
Ultimately, liberal groups are trying to make a scandal out of a small issue and are using their biased media sources to spark what they hope will be a huge scandal.
Vice President Mike Pence remains loyal to his commander-in-chief as well, and will not comment on rumors for a change in position.
Do you think there are any reasons for President Trump to be investigated?
