RINO former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is out to stop Donald Trump from winning in 2024.
Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney and the rest of the GOP establishment are all in on this plan.
And now Paul Ryan declared he will skip the GOP convention if Donald Trump wins the nomination.
Republicans are set to hold their 2024 nominating convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
A reporter from WISN ABC asked Ryan about his plans for the convention.
“Where will you be?” the reporter asked Ryan.
Ryan responded that his attendance came down to if Trump wins the nomination or not.
“It depends on who the nominee is,” Ryan answered. “I’ll be here if it’s not named somebody Trump.”
“You won’t show up if it’s someone —,” the reporter tried to interject.
“Yeah, I’m not interested in participating, no,” Ryan cut him off.
“Even if in Wisconsin?” the reporter asked.
“Even Wisconsin,” Ryan affirmed.

Ryan is one of the weak, RINO leaders that led to the rise of Donald Trump.
For years Ryan presented himself as a conservative champion while supporting open borders, gun control, amnesty, globalist trade deals that sent American jobs to Communist China, and endless wars in the Middle East.
Ryan and his fellow RINOs like McConnell and Romney spent six years seething over the fact that Donald Trump and his grassroots conservative supporters won control of the GOP.
In recent months Ryan stepped up his anti-Trump activism.
Last October Ryan flatly predicted Trump would lose the nomination.
“Trump’s unelectability will be palpable by then,” Ryan said in an interview with Teneo Consulting.
Ryan claimed GOP voters would reject Trump after coming to the conclusion that Trump cannot win a general election.
“We all know that he’s much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for president on our side of the aisle, so why would we want to go with that?” Ryan added.
“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters,” Ryan concluded. “He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.”
In 2016 the GOP establishment could never settle on a plan to defeat Donald Trump.
In 2020 the establishment had to grit their teeth and back Trump due to Trump being the incumbent president.
But after the 2022 midterm elections where several of Trump’s high-profile endorsements lost key Senate and gubernatorial elections the RINO establishment led by Ryan, McConnell and Romney smelled blood in the water.
And Paul Ryan’s increased presence is a sign the GOP establishment is coalescing around a plan to stop Trump.
