Joe Biden’s troubles reached a critical mass.
Biden isn’t getting any help from his closest allies.
And this one top Joe Biden ally went into hiding just when this massive scandal heated up.
Runaway inflation crushed working class Americans as skyrocketing prices in every sector of the economy destroyed the purchasing power of their paychecks.
Biden caused the inflation crisis through spending trillions of dollars on socialist welfare programs financed by the unaccountable Federal Reserve printing new money which devalues the dollar.
In addition, Biden’s fellow Democrats – with Biden’s blessing – destroyed the supply chain with useless, unscientific and ineffective lockdowns that created labor shortages at docks, warehouses and trucking companies.
Because there are not enough workers to unload, transport and store goods, Americans are looking at empty store shelves and the reality that they will not be able to get their children Christmas presents this year.
In a normal administration the transportation secretary would be all over a supply chain breakdown trying to figure out a solution to prevent Americans from suffering.
But not in the Biden administration.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was nowhere to be found as the supply chain breakdowns crippled the American economy.
The corporate media largely ignored Buttigieg going AWOL as corporate media reporters see it as their job to defend and promote the Biden administration as opposed to asking tough questions.
Only Fox News covered Buttigieg’s absence in an October 4 story asking where the transportation secretary was.
Americans finally got an answer as a leak – most likely from Buttigieg’s 2024 rival Kamala Harris – tipped off the press that Buttigieg took a two-month vacation on paternity leave with his husband Chasten after the homosexual pair adopted a child.
POLITICO’s West Wing Playbook reported:
They didn’t previously announce it, but Buttigieg’s office told West Wing Playbook that the secretary has actually been on paid leave since mid-August to spend time with his husband, Chasten, and their two newborn babies.
“For the first four weeks, he was mostly offline except for major agency decisions and matters that could not be delegated,” said a spokesperson for the Department of Transportation. “He has been ramping up activities since then.” As he does that, Buttigieg will “continue to take some time over the coming weeks to support his husband and take care of his new children,” the spokesperson added.
Republicans were not impressed.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News,Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn slammed Buttigieg for his dereliction of duty and hurting the American people.
“We’re in the middle of a transportation crisis, and Pete Buttigieg is sitting at home. Meanwhile, cargo boats are unable to dock and shelves are sitting empty. Pete needs to either get back to work or leave the Department of Transportation. It’s time to put American families first,” Blackburn stated.
Pete Buttigieg ignored a crisis to take a multi-month vacation and the administration never thought to tell the American people where one of the most important – and highest-paid federal officials – was in the middle of a national catastrophe.
