Embattled Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is under fire for his incompetent lack of response to a train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.
Now Buttigieg found himself in an even deeper hole.
And one compromising photo just landed Pete Buttigieg in deep trouble.
Pete Buttigieg — like Joe Biden — completely ignored the Norfolk Southern Railroad that leaked toxic chemicals like vinyl chloride into the air, ground, and water.
Buttigieg took nearly two weeks to comment on the disaster and instead used his public appearances to complain that too many white people worked in construction.
Daily Caller reporter Jennie Taer confronted Buttigieg who was walking down the street with his husband Chasten and asked Buttigieg what he had to say to suffering people of East Palestine.
“What do you have to say to the folks in Ohio, East Palestine, who are suffering right now?” Taer asked Buttigieg.
Buttigieg ducked the question.
“I’d refer you to about a dozen interviews I’ve given today and if you’d like to arrange a conversation, make sure to reach out to our press office,” Buttigieg answered.
“Right now I’m taking some personal time and I’m walking down the street,” Buttigieg continued.
Then the encounter got weird.
Buttigieg tried to intimidate Taer by asking if he could take her picture.
“Can I get a photo of you?” Buttigieg asked.
Taer responded that Buttigieg could take her photo.
I asked Secretary Buttigieg about the crisis in East Palestine and I guess he didn’t like that so he took a pic of me. Im just doing my job, sir. @DailyCaller pic.twitter.com/HjKNgF25FJ

Buttigieg referring Taer to the damage control interviews he sat for after ignoring the catastrophe in East Palestine became a political embarrassment which did Buttigieg no favors.
In one interview Buttigieg admitted he was slow on the draw in commenting and responding to the ecological disaster in Ohio.
“I do think that it’s important to speak out about that and I could have spoken out sooner and I’m making sure that we are focused on the actions that are gonna make a difference,” Buttigieg told Nexstar’s Reshad Hudson.
On ABC’s “Good Morning America” Buttigieg claimed he did not want to go to East Palestine until he had concrete actions to take and called in Congress to toughen rail safety regulations.
But Buttigieg’s job as Transportation secretary is to identify gaps in safety procedures and take proactive actions to solve them.
Instead, Buttigieg admitted he was asleep at the switch.
“I am planning to go, and our folks were on the ground from the first hours,” Buttigieg began. “I do wanna stress that the NTSB needs to be able to do its work independently, but when I go, the focus is gonna be on action.”
“When I go, it will be about action on rail safety, like the actions that we are calling on Congress to help us with. That we’re calling on industry to take and that we are undertaking ourselves as a department to help make sure that these kinds of things don’t happen in the future,” Buttigieg continued.
An increasing number of Americans are calling on Pete Buttigieg to resign.

This strange encounter where Buttigieg tried to bully a young female reporter will only add to the chorus calling for Buttigieg’s job.
