Nancy Pelosi has been the subject of rumors and speculation the last several weeks.
Everyone knows something is up but they do not know what.
And Nancy Pelosi is hiding something about herself that will cause mass panic for Democrats.
In order to secure the votes to win the position as speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi agreed to only serve two terms.
That term limit expired this year and everyone expected with a red wave building, a Republican sweep would afford Pelosi the opportunity to retire rather than serve on in a Democrat minority.
But then the midterm elections happened.
And Republicans underperformed as RINO leaders Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell’s incompetent campaign strategy crippled the party’s chances of success.
Now Republicans are projected to hold a five-seat majority next year and there could be chaos in the speaker’s election as conservatives are threatening to withhold the votes from McCarthy which would prevent the California Republican from obtaining the gavel.
There is still even an outside chance Democrats could win the majority based on the outstanding vote in the tossup races.
This is leading to renewed rumors that Pelosi could call off her retirement plans and stick around for another term as the Democrat leader in the House of Representatives.

The answer – No one knows yet. And that’s frozen the rest of the House Democratic leadership in place.
Still dealing with the aftermath of the brutal attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi, the speaker hasn’t informed anyone what her plans are. Or at least not anyone who’s willing to disclose those plans. Pelosi will be interviewed on two Sunday shows this weekend, yet we don’t anticipate she’ll be making any announcement on her future.
Of course, a lot of what happens will depend on the outcome in House races, and it may be some time before those are finalized. What’s clear is that Democrats have beaten the odds and kept Republicans to shockingly small gains for midterm election. There remains a chance that Democrats could keep the House. Slim, but possible.
Prior to the election Pelosi told Anderson Cooper the situation involving her husband – where a mentally ill, illegal alien nudist activist fractured her husband’s skull with a hammer – would play a role in her retirement.
Everyone took that to mean Pelosi would use her husband’s health as an excuse for a graceful way out of Congress following a Republican rout in the midterm elections.
But Republicans fell far short of expectations.
And with Democrats set to hold their leadership elections later this month there is renewed speculation that Pelosi may stake her claim to leading the Democrats in Congress yet again.
