South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace is turning into one of the Democrats’ best friends in Congress.
Mace betrays conservatives on a daily basis.
And now Nancy Mace tried to stop Republicans from kicking Ilhan Omar off her committee.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy spent days trying to wrangle the votes to kick socialist and anti-Semitic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar off the Foreign Affairs Committee.
McCarthy’s maneuvering enraged Omar who whined that McCarthy intended to follow through on his promise.
“The fact that this has become a sole focus for [House Speaker Kevin McCarthy] that he is personally whipping votes for it is really pathetic. Not the debt ceiling or all the actual priorities a Speaker should be fighting to deal with and whip votes for,” Omar complained.
McCarthy promised that if Republicans won the majority the GOP would remove Congresswoman Omar from Foreign Affairs over Omar’s history of bigoted comments questioning the loyalty of Jewish Americans and lies about secret Jewish money manipulating the American political scene.
But because Republicans hold such a narrow majority, McCarthy can only afford to lose three votes.
Indiana Republican Congresswoman Victoria Spartz previously announced she would oppose voting to remove Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.
But McCarthy tweaked the resolution ousting Omar by adding language allowing Omar to appeal the decision to the House Ethics Committee — which is split equally between Democrats and Republicans.
That promise of due process was enough to win Spartz over.
“I appreciate Speaker McCarthy’s willingness to address legitimate concerns and add due process language to our resolution. Deliberation and debate are vital for our institution, not top-down approaches,” Spartz declared.
“As to my fellow conservatives, I think setting a precedent of allowing an appeal process for the Speaker’s and majority-party removal decisions is particularly important to freedom-loving legislators who usually are on the receiving end of issues like this,” Spartz added.
But nothing could win over Nancy Mace.
The South Carolina RINO refused to budge in her support for Ilhan Omar.
Rep. Nancy Mace says she hasn’t been swayed to change her vote on Omar, despite pressure from leadership and her colleagues
I don’t care how much pressure people put on me.
She had a call with McCarthy yesterday on it

In the last Congress Nancy Pelosi knew she could count on Mace on key votes.
Mace voted with the Democrats to refer former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon for criminal prosecution after Bannon refused to testify before the January 6 committee following Donald Trump invoking executive privilege.
Democrats also rejoiced when Mace joined their party in voting for bills that mandated homosexual marriage in all 50 states and for access to abortion-inducing drugs.
Following the midterm elections Mace gave bipartisan veneer to Democrats’ lies that Republicans lost the midterm elections because of abortion extremism.
Mace appeared on CNN and NBC to happily echo false talking points that Republican pro-life legislation was beyond the pale while never once criticizing Democrats for supporting taxpayer-funded abortion on demand up until the moment of birth.
Nancy Mace campaigned as a pro-Trump conservative.
But now that she is in Congress Mace is just another Mitt Romney or John McCain-type who is secretly a Democrat.
