Mike Pence claims he still maintains a good relationship with Donald Trump.
Pence’s claim is about to be put to the test.
Mike Pence may betray Donald Trump because of this big legal threat.
Nancy Pelosi’s handpicked January 6 committee is a guided missile aimed squarely at Donald Trump’s potential 2024 presidential campaign.
Joe Biden’s presidency is circling the drain and Biden’s self-inflicted illegal immigration, inflation and jobs crises dragged down his approval numbers.
Democrats view this committee as their best chance to poison the image of Donald Trump and his 74,000,000 voters in the eyes of swing voters that may have grown disenchanted with Joe Biden and would be open to a return to the peace and prosperity of the Trump years.
RINO Congressman Adam Kinzinger – who Pelosi selected to serve on the committee – admitted to the political nature of the committee in an appearance on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show.
Cooper asked Kinzinger if the committee would subpoena Mike Pence and Donald Trump and Kinzinger declared the committee was open to such a move.
“Yeah, I’m sure, you know, it is realistic. I mean, we’re not going to jump to doing that immediately because obviously, that’s big. There’s a lot of people that know a lot. But I’m going to tell you. I know the members of this committee. We’ve been meeting a lot. We’re talking about these issues. We are determined to get to the bottom of what happened,” Kinzinger began.
The Never Trump Kinzinger and Democrats want to call Pence to testify believing Pence will turn on Trump and feed the false media narrative that Trump planned and incited the riot on January 6.
Kinzinger told Cooper the committee will be moving ahead to vote on a criminal referral for former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon as evidence the committee was serious about calling Trump’s most senior advisors to testify.
“I think what you’re seeing with the potential criminal referral of Steve Bannon by the committee. Hopefully, if people misinterpret anything else, interpret this. We’re serious about this. Anybody that is either being subpoenaed now or will be in the future think twice before you reject a lawful order from Congress,” Kinzinger added.
Kinzinger admitted the committee entered the process with a predetermined political narrative in mind by claiming the goal of the committee was to blame the events of January 6 entirely on Donald Trump.
“We’re going to continue to turn over every stone, get every answer we can so that we can put before the American people a true and honest picture of January 6. So that we can, whether somebody wants to believe it or not, prove once and for all that it was not peaceful and frankly that this was not anybody but really a Trump-inspired insurrection,” Kinzinger concluded.
And Nancy Pelosi’s anti-Trump committee could use Mike Pence to further that aim.
