Michelle Obama is one of the most controversial first ladies in American history.
Now Obama is telling all about Donald Trump.
And Michelle Obama made a shocking confession about her reaction to Donald Trump.
On the debut episode of her new Amazon podcast titled Michelle Obama: The Light Podcast, Obama revealed how she reacted to leaving the White House and Donald Trump taking office.
Obama told listeners that on the flight on Air Force One heading home to Chicago Obama admitted she cried for 30 minutes nonstop.
“I cried for 30 minutes straight — uncontrollable sobbing — because that’s how much we were holding it together for eight years,” Obama said.
Obama tried to claim it was sadness over leaving Washington as her daughters Sasha and Malia were more familiar with Washington after spending eight years in the White House than their native Chicago.
“We were leaving the home we had been in for eight years, the only home our kids really knew,” Obama continued. “They remembered Chicago, but they had spent more time in the White House than anywhere, so we were saying goodbye to the staff and all the people who helped to raise them.”
In reality, Obama let on what she was really crying about later on in the podcast when she began complaining about Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The American people electing Donald Trump was a massive rebuke of Barack Obama.
Obama strongly endorsed Hillary Clinton saying she was the most qualified candidate — including himself — to ever run for president.
Clinton then proceeded to campaign on a platform that amounted to Barack Obama’s third term.
The American people rejected that sales pitch.
Michelle Obama was among the many Democrats who descended into a nervous breakdown over Donald Trump’s election.
Democrats across the country essentially spent four straight years sobbing over the fact that Barack Obama left the White House and Donald Trump took over.
Americans had never seen anything like one major political party having a four-year nervous breakdown and mental therapy session.
In the podcast, Obama played the race card and fumed over the fact that she felt there were too many white people on the stage for Trump’s inaugural address.
“To sit on that stage and watch the opposite of what we represented on display — there was no diversity, there was no color on that stage. … But you had to hold it together like you do for eight years,” Michelle Obama stated.
Critics suspect Michelle Obama really wanted to cry over the fact that Donald Trump won the election on a promise to obliterate Barack Obama’s legacy as president.
