Liberal media sites have found a new way to promote their agendas: through lies and deceit.
President Trump has recently been very adamant about calling out “fake news” stories.
As a result, one particular liberal news site is taking a hit for the lies they have spread in their fake news stories.
Politico is one of the most biased liberal media sites, and often times promotes fake news stories in order to favor their political bias.
For years, they have been spreading their falsehoods about many conservatives and their beliefs, and now, are receiving the cold shoulder for it.
Recently, President Trump barred certain liberal media outlets from attending a White House media conference, in order to make certain the American people only received the truth.
New York Magazine reported:
Last week, President Trump declared that the “fake news media” — a collective made up of several leading American news outlets — was “the enemy of the American people.”
“I’m not against the media. I’m not against the press,” Trump said. “I am only against the fake news media or press.”
“Fake,” the president said. “Fake. They have to leave that word.”
On Friday afternoon, the White House appeared to put the president’s distinction into practice: When reporters from the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Politico, and CNN showed for a scheduled, off-camera briefing from Sean Spicer, they were denied entry to the White House press secretary’s office.
A recent example of their political deceit is in regards to their coverage of the Obamacare repeal, and the future of American healthcare.
The Daily Caller reported:
Politico featured a worrisome story Monday raising concerns about Obamacare’s demise wreaking havoc on disadvantaged HIV patients in Vice President Mike Pence’s home state of Indiana, but it looks like they left out a few important details.
Indiana’s conservative version of Medicaid expansion has made it a target for some on the political left, but the state’s patient advocates are up in arms about Washington repealing Obamacare and the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) 2.0, according to Politico. In a piece titled “How Mike Pence used Obamacare to halt Indiana’s HIV outbreak,” the publication makes the case for HIP 2.0 and highlights fears about the potential demise of the program.
In the story, Politico stretched the truth and added in false facts to fluff the story.
The fact of the matter is, it is unknown what the future of healthcare is for America at this point, but the Trump administration is currently working to put a better plan into place for the American people, rather than the disastrous unaffordable “Affordable Care Act”.
Just last year, Politico received a major overhaul in their staff and reorganized the company due to so many leaving.
As a result, the quality of their media coverage declined as well, especially when grasping at straws during the political campaign period of this previous election, when they were favoring the corrupt and unfavorable Hillary Clinton.
