Joe Biden and the Democrats faced a pivotal moment.
Biden decided to pick a fight that would define his presidency.
But Joe Biden just told one lie that instantly blew up in his face.
Joe Biden traveled to Georgia to rant and rave about pressuring Senate Democrats to eliminate the legislative filibuster so Chuck Schumer could ram a bill into law eliminating competitive elections in America.
The Democrats’ election rigging scheme would mandate no-excuse mail-invoting and ballot harvesting in all 50 states.
This radical federal takeover of elections would also guarantee permanent Democrat Party rule by rendering voter ID laws unenforceable.
In a deranged speech Biden compared anyone that supported free and fair elections as the equivalent of segregationist Governor George Wallace, racist police chief Bull Connor and Confederate President Jefferson Davis.
“So I ask every elected official in America: How do you want to be remembered? The consequential moments in history, they present a choice. Do you want to be on the side of Dr. Martin Luther King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?” Biden ranted.
The joke was on Joe Biden.
The 78-year-old Biden’s been in Washington so long that he actually entered Democrat Party politics at a time when the pro-segregation Wallace was still considered a major force on the left.
That’s why in 1973 Biden boasted of Wallace calling him“one of the outstanding young politicians of America.”
In 1975, prior to Wallace launching a third bid for presidency Biden declared that the “Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace.”
And in 1987 – during Biden’s first failed presidential campaign that ended in humiliation after evidence of plagiarism surfaced – Biden campaigned in Wallace’s home state of Alabama and crowed that “we (Delawareans) were on the South’s side in the Civil War.”
Even though Biden is the only politician on the national stage that praised George Wallace, Biden accused his fellow Democrats that refuse to blow up the filibuster – Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, Jon Tester, and Mark Kelly – of acting as the equivalent of racists that denied blacks equal accommodations, sicced police dogs on civil rights protesters and the leader of a rebel government that fought to protect chattel slavery.
Biden then falsely claimed that a minority of senators blocked Biden’s federal election fraud bill.
“Today, I’m making it clear: To protect our democracy, I support changing the Senate rules, whichever way they need to be changed, to prevent a minority of senators from blocking action on voting rights,” Biden stated.
In fact, all 50 Republican senator and multiple Democrat senators oppose nuking the filibuster.
That means it is a minority of senators that support eliminating the filibuster so Democrats can push a partisan power grab through the chamber.
