Joe Biden’s push to mandate medical treatments has gone too far.
His plan to mandate COVID vaccines is facing stronger opposition than ever before.
And now, Biden just received one ultimatum to end mandatory COVID vaccines once and for all.
A year after Joe Biden’s nationwide COVID vaccine mandate was overturned by the Supreme Court, Biden is facing a similar challenge to his plans to continue to mandate COVID vaccinations for members of the US Armed Forces.
And now, Biden was just delivered one letter that demanded he withdraw his mandatory vaccination policy for the military.
The Washington Examiner reports, “Several Senate Republicans have reiterated their demand that the U.S. military drop its coronavirus vaccine mandate and urged Republican leadership to use the National Defense Authorization Act as leverage in negotiations.”
Now, 13 conservatives within the Senate Republican caucus are demanding their own leadership stand up to Biden’s continued policy of mandating vaccines or discharging service members who refuse to take it.
And they’re demanding the party refuse to invoke cloture on the next National Defense Authorization Act without an amendment to prohibit further mandatory vaccinations.
“The Department of Defense COVID-19 vaccine mandate has ruined the livelihoods of men and women who have honorably served our country,” the letter said. “While the Department of Defense certainly must make decisions that will bolster military readiness, the effects of the mandate are antithetical to readiness of our force, and the policy must be revoked.”
With more and more evidence emerging showing that COVID remains far more dangerous for elderly populations than the demographic that serves within the military, there seems to be little point behind Biden’s continued demand that everyone in the armed forces receive the vaccination or be fired.
What’s more, Senate Republicans are also demanding that Biden reinstate back pay from those who have already been dismissed for refusing to take the vaccine.
Biden himself needs these Republicans in order to pass the next round of the National Defense Authorization Act, which he and his secretary of Defense are calling upon Congress to pass.
And it is this bill which gives Senate Republicans leverage to demand that Biden finally drop his final plan to impose COVID vaccines on the public.
Because if the party is united, they can force a filibuster on the bill that can only be broken once Biden finally concedes.
The only question is whether or not the rest of the Republican Senate caucus will go along with the letter signed by 13 conservatives.
“The Biden administration initially sought $802 billion for national defense, though a possible compromise on Capitol Hill could reach $847 billion, according to Politico. Negotiators also agree to authorize 11 naval ships as a part of the deal, according to a Bloomberg journalist,” adds the Washington Examiner.
Should Biden be forced to abandon the military mandate, it would mark the latest defeat in a long string of political and legal battles related to government attempts to impose the COVID vaccine on millions of people across America.
And while Biden failed to succeed in imposing the vaccine on the general public, he was able to impose it on government workers and the military.
But now, Biden’s vaccine mandates could finally be coming to an end.
