Joe Biden’s political career is crumbling.
He’s losing supporters across the board thanks to his failed record.
And now, Biden is weeping after Elon Musk just announced who he’s backing in 2024.
Joe Biden has just lost the support of the richest man in the world.
Despite voting for Biden in 2020, Elon Musk announced that he no longer supports the Democrat, and that his failed record in office shows that Musk’s previous vote for Biden was a mistake.
But Musk expressing his regret for voting for Biden wasn’t the only blow that Democrats just took.
Musk also announced which Republican he is planning on supporting against Biden in 2024.
The New York Post reports, “Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has a big-name supporter for a possible presidential run in 2024: Elon Musk.
“Musk came out for the sunshine state gov in a brief Twitter conversation Friday night with the account @ProudElephantUS, who asked if he would back DeSantis.
“’Yes.’ Musk replied, before adding, ‘But Twitter as a platform must be fair to all.’”
The Left was already increasingly turning against Elon Musk for several years, especially after Musk came out against some of the Democratic Party’s worst aspects of the COVID-era lockdowns.
But now that Elon Musk has also purchased Twitter and unbanned Donald Trump, leftists have completely lost their minds about him and now hate Musk more than ever before.
And in turn, Elon Musk has completely deserted the Democratic Party.
“Though Musk has insisted he does not identify as a conservative, he publicly urged his 119 million Twitter followers to vote Republican in the 2022 midterm elections and has raised ire from liberal users for reinstating right-wing accounts — including that of former President Trump,” adds the New York Post.
First, he left California for Texas after local Democrats in the state declared that they wanted to go after Musk’s ownership of Tesla.
Then, Musk announced he was supporting Republicans for Congress in 2022 and that he had cast his own ballot for a Republican for the first time ever.
And now, Musk has gone from backing Joe Biden in 2020 and Barack Obama in 2012, to openly declaring that he would support Ron DeSantis against Biden in 2024.
“As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump,” Musk said. “My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would [be] the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.”
Musk’s declaration that he would back Ron DeSantis comes at a time when DeSantis has been floated as a potential Republican presidential candidate.
While DeSantis hasn’t yet launched a campaign or announced he’s running in 2024, his stature within the Republican Party has soared following his successful re-election campaign for governor of Florida, where he won by nearly 20 points, carrying many long-time Democratic strongholds in the process.
