Joe Biden got some bad news.
Biden found out his troubles are just beginning.
Joe Biden found out he was in way over his head when Ron DeSantis challenged him.
Joe Biden found his poll numbers sinking due to an accumulation of failures on the border, crime, inflation, COVID, the economy and Afghanistan.
One poll showed Biden underwater by 20 points with independents.
Biden tried to put his presidency back ontrack by rallying his COVID-panicked base by declaring war on the 80 million unvaccinated Americans.
In a speech announcing the tyrannical federal vaccine mandate Biden declared the 80,000,000 unvaccinated Americans enemies of the people.
Biden’s mandate requires companies with more than 100 employees to require vaccinations.
“This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Biden ranted. “And it’s caused by the fact that despite America having [an] unprecedented and successful vaccination program, despite the fact that for almost five months, free vaccines have been available in more than 80,000 different locations, we still have nearly 80 million Americans who have failed to get the shot.”
Biden then elevated Republicans like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – who still believe America is a free country – to the status of boogeyman and issued a dictator-like threat to move them out of the way if they fought back.
“If they’ll not help, if these governors won’t help us beat the pandemic, I’ll use my power as president to get them out of the way,” Biden added.
White House Senior Counselor Cedric Richmond doubled down with violent rhetoric in an appearance on Don Lemon’s CNN show.
“Those governors that stand in the way, I think it was very clear from the president’s tone today, that he will RUN OVER THEM,” Richmond roared.
But DeSantis showed why he is a rising star on the right by punching back at Biden twice as hard.
DeSantis told a crowd at a veterans’ appreciation event that Biden’s illegal order threatened the jobs of workers in the state and DeSantis would have their back.
“Generally, when you’re taking action that’s unconstitutional, that threatens the jobs of the people in my state – many, many thousands of jobs – I’m standing for them. We’re going to protect their jobs against federal overreach,” DeSantis stated.
DeSantis added that Biden sought to usurp the role of parents and put the federal government in charge of raising children by fighting DeSantis’ order that banned mask mandates and allowed parents to decide if their children wore face coverings in school.
“This is a guy who criticizes the state of Florida for protecting parents’ rights. He says school boards should be able to eliminate parents’ rights and force 5-year-old kids to wear masks all day. That’s what he thinks is appropriate government,” DeSantis added.
DeSantis ripped into Biden for issuing an illegal and unconstitutional mandate as a political stunt.
“Yet, here he comes from Washington, D.C., instituting an unprecedented mandate, which even his own people have acknowledged in the past is not constitutional. That’s not leadership,” DeSantis added.
DeSantis noted that Biden’s policies are failing as COVID cases are up 300 percent from this time last year despite there not being a vaccine readily available in the fall of 2020 as there is in 2021.
The Florida governor compared Biden blaming him for the COVID surge to Biden scapegoating Donald Trump for Biden’s failure to execute an orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“The problem I have with Joe Biden, more than anything, this guy doesn’t take responsibility for anything. He’s always trying to blame other people, blame other states,” DeSantis explained.
DeSantis expressed outrage that Biden would force employers to threaten the jobs of workers who showed up every day during the pandemic because of an illegal vaccine mandate Biden used as a political rallying cry for his neurotic base.
Biden way overstepped his bounds in issuing this mandate.
And Biden made a mistake in picking a fight with Republican governors like Ron DeSantis.
