Every new president faces an international threat early in their first term.
The American people got some bad news.
And that’s because Joe Biden embarrassed America by waving the white flag in the face of one threat.
Communist China has spent decades putting a plan in place to supplant the United States as the world’s lone superpower.
The Belt and Road Initiative is planting the Communist government’s tentacles in countries around the world under the guise of “infrastructure” projects.
China’s Communist government is also seeking to colonize Africa and South America through massive economic development payoffs.
And China is constantly saber-rattling over a territorial dispute with India.
To top it all off, many suspect the coronavirus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology while the Communist Chinese government covered up the catastrophe which allowed the virus to spread unchecked around the globe.
Against this backdrop,Biden’s Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi in Anchorage, Alaska.
Theoretically the United States had the home-field advantage.
Instead Joe Biden’s administration got its pants pulled down on American soil by hostile Chinese diplomats while Biden’s representatives sat cowed and frightened.
Blinken claimed America would defend the “rules-based international order,” and held “deep concerns” about Chinese misconduct in “Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, cyberattacks on the United States, and economic coercion toward our allies.”
Of course Blinken didn’t call out specifically what the Chinese did in Xinjiang—where the Communist government holds one million Uyghur Muslims in a concentration camp—or Hong Kong—where the communists rendered democracy illegal and arrest anyone that protests their evil rule.
Jiechi fired back using the left’s talking points cribbed straight from the Black Lives Matter riots claiming that America was a racist and unjust country that had no business lecturing China on human rights.
Even though Jiechi was sitting on American soil he mocked the Biden administration claiming they were not in a position of strength to demand China do anything.
“China is firmly opposed to U.S. interference in China’s internal affairs … On human rights, we hope the United States will do better on human rights. China has made steady progress in human rights, and the fact is that there are many problems within the United States regarding human rights, which is admitted by the U.S. itself as well. … The challenges facing the United States in human rights are deep-seated. They did not just emerge over the past four years, such as ‘Black Lives Matter.’ It did not come up only recently,” Jiechi ranted.
Instead of standing up for America and shutting down the communists by pointing out that the government was conducting a genocide against the Uyghurs, Blinken instead essentially apologized for America.
Blinken groveled that America was on “a constant quest to form a more perfect union” and mouthed other “woke” talking points.
It was a shameful display that many Americans thought resembled Jimmy Carter’s embarrassing futility on the world stage.
