Joe Biden’s presidency is crashing headfirst into reality.
The honeymoon is over and Biden’s poll numbers eroded over the last several months.
Now Joe Biden confessed one massive failure that will ruin every American’s year.
Policies supported by Joe Biden crippled the American supply chain causing shortages of formerly everyday goods across the country and spikes in inflation.
Biden supported lockdowns which initially caused the supply chain backlog.
Now Biden’s own underlings admitted in a call with reporters that the administration’s nearly two-trillion-dollar blue state bailout bill contributed to the supply chain backup by spiking demand for goods piling up on cargo ships floating aimlessly off the coasts of the United States.
“They also acknowledged that the $1.9 trillion economic aid package Mr. Biden signed into law in March had contributed to supply chain issues by boosting demand for goods,” The New York Times reported.
The latest inflation report for September showed that prices skyrocketed 5.4% from last year, the biggest jump in 13 years.
On the day the White House admitted it was partly to blame for the supply chain and inflation crisis, administration officials also admitted to reporters that parents would not be able to buy certain Christmas presents for their children because of the Biden-induced shortages.
“There will be things that people can’t get,” a Biden official told Reuters. “At the same time, a lot of these goods are hopefully substitutable by other things. … I don’t think there’s any real reason to be panicked, but we all feel the frustration and there’s a certain need for patience to help get through a relatively short period of time.”
That explained why Biden scheduled a rare public event to put on a dog and pony show falsely claiming his administration had a plan to alleviate the supply chain crunch.
Biden made a big to-do about the Port of Los Angeles operating at 24/7 capacity for 60 days in order to make sure presents were under the tree on Christmas morning.
Logistics experts mocked the Biden plan as ineffectual propaganda.
“It will accomplish zero. It’s just window dressing,” Senior Vice President ofGlobal Ocean for SEKO Logistics Craig Grossgart told the Washington Post.
Even the left-wing Washington Post admitted that the ports running nonstop would not solve the problem as unloading the cargo was only part of the crisis.
Trucking companies and warehouses lacked the staff to transport, store and distribute the goods once crews unloaded them at America’s ports.
“But longer working hours at the neighboring ports, which operate as a single complex under dual management, will matter only if trains, trucks and warehouses all do the same. Already, truckers have been reluctant to show up at the Long Beach port during the 3 a.m.-to-7 a.m. slot known as the ‘hoot’ shift — named for the hoot owl — because they have nowhere to take containers at that hour,” the Post also reported.
Some experts believe the shortages – caused by policies Joe Biden supported – could last all the way until 2023.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg admitted as much in an interview with Bloomberg.
“Some of this is a bigger picture, longer term issue that’s going to take years and years to address,” Buttigieg stated.
If shortages and inflation continue for years the American people will remain angry and there is very little chance Joe Biden runs for re-election.
