Joe Biden and the Democrats are desperately trying to put Donald Trump in jail before the 2024 election.
The Democrats are getting some secret help from a top Republican.
And you won’t believe who is helping Joe Biden put Donald Trump in jail.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is no fan of Donald Trump.
Trump’s handpicked candidate failed to defeat Kemp in a 2022 primary challenge after Kemp certified the 2020 election results in Georgia.
Now Kemp is getting revenge in the form of siding with Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis in her attempt to interfere in the 2024 election through a politically motivated persecution of Donald Trump.
Georgia State Senator Colton Moore called on Governor Kemp to announce a special session of the legislature to sanction Willis either through impeachment or using a newly passed law allowing for a state commission to remove rogue prosecutors from office.
“As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis,” Moore declared. “America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors weaponize their elected offices to politically target their opponents.”
Kemp shut down the idea and defended Willis – an elected Democrat – indicting the chief political rival of Joe Biden in the middle of an election cycle.
“Now, my concerns with the Fulton County District Attorney’s handling of this case in the special purpose grand jury have been well-documented. We are now seeing what happens when prosecutors move forward with highly charged indictments and trials in the middle of an election. Simply put, it sows distrust and provides easy pickings for those who see the district attorney’s action as guided by politics,” Kemp stated.
Kemp claimed Willis acted ethically by criminalizing free speech, political activism and seeking legal advice when she indicted Trump and thus he said there were no grounds to remove her from office.
“But let me be clear. We have a law in the state of Georgia that clearly outlines the legal steps that can be taken if constituents believe their local prosecutors are violating their oath by engaging in unethical or illegal behavior. Up to this point, I have not seen any evidence that D.A. Willis’ actions or lack thereof, warrant action by the prosecuting attorney oversight commission,” Kemp continued.
“The bottom line is that in the state of Georgia, as long as I’m governor, we’re going to follow the law in the Constitution regardless of who it helps or harms politically,” Kemp concluded. “And in Georgia, we will not be engaging in political theater that only inflames the emotions of the moment.”
A Democrat governor would never let a Republican prosecutor or attorney general indict the Democrat frontrunner for president 14 months before an election.
But Kemp has no love lost for Donald Trump and would like to see a different Republican nominee.
And there is no chance Kemp will do Trump any favors and will instead let Trump take his chances with the legal system.
