Special counsel John Durham’s report about the origins of the Russia collusion hoax landed like a thunderclap in Washington.
After four years Durham finally presented his findings which were damning for the FBI, the CIA, the Clinton campaign and the Obama administration.
One of Durham’s central findings was that the FBI has no business opening up a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign as there was never any evidence to back up the central claim that Trump was in league with Russia.
Durham found that in 2016 the FBI knew that Clinton’s campaign planned to cook up a scandal about Donald Trump colluding with the Russians to distract from the criminal investigation into Clinton mishandling classified information on her private email server.

Durham also found that one month later then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed Barack Obama, then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Joe Biden, and then-FBI Director James Comey about Hillary Clinton personally approving the plan to invent a fake scandal about the Trump campaign conspiring with Russia.
Donald Trump reacted to the release of the report with an email to supporters that essentially declared “I told you so.”
