The Democrat Party’s lawfare against Donald Trump is off the charts.
Trump is now facing 91 criminal charges in four jurisdictions which carry a combined prison sentence of over 700 years.
And Donald Trump revealed the chilling truth about his latest arrest that will make your blood boil.
The Democrat District Attorney in Fulton County, Georgia, Fani Willis, was the latest party prosecutor to indict Donald Trump.
Willis unveiled a 13-count indictment against Trump for challenging the results of the 2020 election.
The indictment also charged 18 other Trump associates as part of a RICO case using a statute intended to prosecute organized crime to stretch the law to criminalize Trump’s political activity.
Trump slammed the political persecution in a post on Truth Social where the 45th president ripped Joe Biden for enlisting the most partisan Democrat prosecutors imaginable to help his re-election campaign by indicting his leading opponent.
“So, the Witch Hunt continues! 19 people Indicated tonight, including the former President of the United States, me, by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, ‘I will get Trump.’ And what about those Indictment Documents put out today, long before the Grand Jury even voted, and then quickly withdrawn? Sounds Rigged to me! Why didn’t they Indict 2.5 years ago? Because they wanted to do it right in the middle of my political campaign. Witch Hunt!” Trump posted.
Willis’s investigation was every bit as egregious as Jack Smith’s Mar-a-Lago document case and January 6 witch hunts and Alvin Bragg’s nakedly political charges of falsifying business records to supposedly conceal non-disclosure agreement payments to Stormy Daniels.
Like the other probes, Willis began this investigation in 2021.
But it did not pick up speed until Trump announced he was running for re-election last November.
If Willis actually believed these charges were serious, she had all of 2021 and the first 10 months of 2022 to file an indictment before Trump was a candidate.
Instead, Willis waited until after Trump launched his campaign to kick her investigation into high gear.
Willis then waited until polls showed Trump comfortably in front of his GOP rivals to unveil this indictment and then announce her intention to hold Trump’s trial in the middle of the GOP presidential nominating contest.
It was a political hit job from day one.
Since there are state charges, Trump can’t do anything about them even if he wins the presidency.
And the laws in Georgia are such that the governor and other statewide officials have no role to play in either pardoning Trump, replacing Willis or forcing her to drop these bogus charges.
The fact that state law grants Willis massive freedom to pursue this case free from any checks and balances while pulling her jury from a pool of voters that went 75 percent for Joe Biden makes this case the perfect storm for Democrats.
